المستخلص: Any reflection on a notional taxonomy, previously used through Arab phonetic studies, is immediately challenged by the diversity of infinite uses of divergent concepts that overlap and interfering, tending, in short, to confine themselves by the semantic charge they convey in gnoseological fields other than those in which they originated, and by the ambiguity which restricts the functional and usable dimension of other concepts, especially those which the precursors have failed to establish as levers of the construction of the linguistic norm with all the necessary rigor allowing them to codify language levels, starting with the phonetic and lexical system, to reach the semantic level, and this, like the Légèreté et lourise, Point of articulation, Phoneme and Grapheme, Principal and accessory, Rhythm and cadence. As a result, the need has arisen to lay the ground work for a new conception supported by an operative device capable of decapitating the signs of these conceptual variations and of elucidating its effects manifest through the historicity of the Arabic linguistic discourse, thus tending to get rid of confusion and to avoid ambiguity. As such, we have set ourselves, through this essay, to bring light on the notions of lightness and heaviness and this because of the strong recurrence of the two notions in more than one respect, and their semantic scope nuances that invite more depth and precision.

إن المتأمل في صنافة المستعمل من المصطلحات في الدراسات الصوتية العربية، يقف أمام تنوع استعمالي لا متناهي من المتقابلات اللفظية التي تداخلت مفاهيمها، وأضحت ترتد بحمولتها الدلالية إلى حقول معرفية مغايرة لتلك التي نشأت في أحضانها، كما بقي الغموض يكتنف البعد الوظيفي والاستعمالي لمصطلحات أخرى، ولا سيما تلك التي اعتد بها القدماء في صناعة القاعدة والمعيار اللغوي الصارم الذي ضبط المستويات اللسانية بدءا بالنظام الصوتي والإفرادي ثم التركيبي، على نحو الخفة والثقل، والمخرج، والأصل والفرع، والوزن والإيقاع، والصوت والحرف. ومن هنا، فقد تولدت الحاجة لضرورة استحداث توجه تصوري معضود بآلية إجرائية تشتغل على اقتفاء أثر هذه التغيرات المفاهيمية وتتكشف تجليات تأثيراتها عبر تعاقبية تطور المبحث اللغوي العربي، كما تتغيا في الآن ذاته فك مواطن اللبس الحاصل وإزالة الغموض عنها، وقد عمدنا في هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على مصطلحي الخفة والثقل وذلك لتردد المصطلحين في أكثر من موقف لساني بأبعاد دلالية متباينة تدعو إلى التمحيص والتدقيق.
