المستخلص: يهدف البحث الذي بعنوان: "بين تعلم اللغة العربية والإنجليزية كلغة ثانية المبادئ والأسس" إلى بيان أسس، ومبادئ تعليم اللغة العربية والإنجليزية كلغة ثانية، اتبعت فيه المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وقد قسمته إلى تمهيد، وثلاثة مباحث، التمهيد: نشأة تعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها، وتناولت فيه بالدراسة خصائص اللغة العربية، والإنجليزية، وأما المبحث الأول: المعايير العالمية لمعلمي اللغات الأجنبية في القرن الواحد والعشرين، فدرست فيه معايير المجلس الأمريكي لتعليم اللغات الأجنبية، المعايير المهنية لتدريس اللغات والثقافات بحسب المعايير الاسترالية (AFMLTA)، ومعايير الاتحاد العالمي لتعليم اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية (ACTFI TESOL)، ومعايير الإطار الأوروبي المشترك لتعليم اللغات الأجنبية (CEFR)، وأما المبحث الثاني: مبادئ تعليم اللغة العربية بين الواقع والمأمول، فدرست فيه طرق الأقدمين في تعليم العربية للناطقين بغيرها، وطرق تعلم المهارات اللغوية من واقع برامج تعليم اللغة العربية كلغة ثانية، والفجوات الواردة في مجال تعليم اللغة العربية كلغة ثانية، وأما المبحث الثالث: دراسة مقابلة بين العربية والإنجليزية، فدرست فيه أوجه التشابه بين العربية والإنجليزية، وأوجه الاختلاف بين اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، ودور الدراسة التقابلية في تنمية مجال اللغة الثانية، ثم الخاتمة، وتوصل البحث إلى العديد من النتائج من أهمها: 1- اللغة العربية هي لغة القرآن الكريم، والسنة النبوية المطهرة، وهي من اللغات الأم. 2- تتميز اللغة الإنجليزية بسعة مفرداتها، وقدرتها على الاستعارة من اللغات الأخرى.

The research, entitled: "Between Learning Arabic and English as a Second Language Principles and Foundations" aims to explain the foundations and principles of teaching Arabic and English as a second language, in which I followed the descriptive analytical approach, which was divided into a preface and three sections, Preface: The emergence of language education Arabic for Non- Native Speakers, in which the study dealt with the characteristics of Arabic and English. As for the first topic: international standards for teachers of foreign languages in the twenty-first century, in which I studied the standards of the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages, professional standards for teaching languages and cultures according to Australian standards (AFMLTA). And the standards of the International Federation for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TESOL ACTFI), and the standards of the Common European Framework for the Teaching of Foreign Languages (CEFR). The methods of the ancients in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, and methods of learning language skills from the reality of programs for teaching Arabic as a second language, and the gaps in the field of teaching Arabic as a second language, and the third topic: a corresponding study between Arabic and English, in which the similarities between Arabic and English, the differences between the Arabic and English languages, the role of contrastive study in the development of the second language field, then the conclusion. The research reached many results, the most important of which are: 1- The Arabic language is the language of the Noble Qur’an and the purified Sunnah of the Prophet, and it is one of the mother tongues. 2- The English language is distinguished by its wide vocabulary, and its ability to borrow from other languages.
