المستخلص: مع مطلع القرن العشرين، حاولت السلطات الاستعمارية الفرنسية تغيير سياستها التعليمية اتجاه الجزائريين من خلال تمكين فئة منهم من الولوج إلى مؤسساتها التعليمية، والتدرج عبر مختلف مراحلها، ولم يكن الهدف من ذلك تقديم خدمة للجزائريين، أو عدولا عن سياستها الاستعمارية والتي عمدت من خلالها إلى تجهيلهم وتسخيرهم لخدمتها، إنما كان الهدف هو خلق نخبة من الأهالي، منسلخة عن هويتها ومشبعة بالثقافة الفرنسية، لتكون همزة وصل بينها وبين الشعب الجزائري، غير أن هذه الفئة على قلتها، وبالرغم مما زودت به من ثقافة موجهة في عبر مختلف مراحلها الدراسية السابقة، إلا أنها بولوجها إلى الجامعة اصطدمت بالواقع الذي وجدته داخل أسوار هذه الأخيرة، وتكشفت لها التناقضات من خلال ما عاينته من سياسة عنصرية مطبقة على الطلبة الجزائريين، فقررت مواجهة هذه السياسة وخوض نضال سياسي داخل الوسط الطلابي، ولعل من بين الشخصيات التي خاضت هذه التجربة هو المناضل فرحات عباس. فقسم حياته الجامعية بين تقلقي العلوم من جهة ومن جهة أخرى الدفاع عن حقوق الطلبة المسلمين الجزائريين في وجه المظالم التي كانت مسلطة عليهم من قبل سلطات الاستعمار الفرنسية، وقد اتخذ من التنظيمات الطلابية المعتمدة وسيلة لممارسة هذا النضال، متجاوزا في كفاحه البعد المحلي ليصل إلى أبعاد إقليمية ودولية.

Au début du XXe siècle, les autorités coloniales françaises ont tenté de changer leurs orientations politiques de l'éducation des Algériens, en permettant a une classe d'entre eux d’accès aux établissements scolaires, et la progression à travers ses différentes étapesLe but n’était pas de fournir un service aux Algériens, ni laisser tomber la politique coloniale basée sur la servitude pour servir, mais l'objectif était de créer un groupe d'élite indigène isolés de son identité et imprègne de la culture française, pour servir de lien entre la France et le peuple algérien, cette catégorie minoritaire et malgré la culture dirigée qu’elle a reçu, s’est trouvée en collision avec la réalité une fois a l’université elle a détecté les contradictions de la politique raciste appliquée aux étudiants algériens, ce qui la pousser a en faire face et s’engagée dans une lutte politique en milieu universitaire, et la personnalité la plus remarquable qui a vécu cette expérience c’est Ferhat Abbas qui a partager sa vie universitaire entre recherche scientifique d'une part et la défense des étudiants musulmans algériens oui ont subi les abus de cette politique d’autre par C’est ainsi qu’apparu les organisations étudiantes approuvé pour pratiquer cette lutte, tout en dépassant la dimension de la lutte locale a la lute régionales et International en suite.

At the beginning of the twentieth century, the French colonial authorities attempted to alter their educational policy towards Algerians by allowing a select group of Algerian students to access French educational institutions and progress through various stages. The objective was not to provide a service to the Algerians or renounce the colonial policy, which was aimed at marginalizing and subjugating the Algerian population. Instead, the goal was to create an elite detached from their identity, imbued with French culture, and serving as a link between them and the Algerian people. However, this group, despite its small size, and the guided cultural upbringing throughout their earlier education, upon entering the university, confronted the reality within its walls. Contradictions became apparent through witnessing the racist policies applied to Algerian students. They decided to challenge this policy and embark on a political struggle within the student community. The prominent among them was activist Farhat Abbas. He balanced his university life between studying science and advocating for the rights of Algerian Muslim students against the injustices imposed by the French colonial authorities. Using approved student organizations as a means, he extended his struggle beyond the local dimension to reach regional and international levels. This abstract was translated by AlMandumah Inc.
