المستخلص: This study aims at knowing the effect of mixing learning on the achievement of fourth. Literary pupils and their attitudes towards history subject-matter. To achieve the aim, the researchers hypothesize two null hypotheses. The researchers design an experiment. The following procedures are adopted: The researchers design experimental design for two groups (experimental and controlling group). The researcher selects Aban'Al Iraq school and Al-Shaheed Hashim Sadiq school in Kirkuk city arbitrary. The sample of the study consists of 53 pupils. The sample has been distributed between two groups: experimental group consists of 32 pupils and controlling group consists of 31 pupils. The researchers equalizes between two groups in age, intelligence, achievement and attitudes). The researchers specify the material of history subject- matter which consists of three chapters in the academic year 2014/2015. Seventeen concepts have been selected and composed three behavioral objectives for each concept recognition, production and application. The researchers construct a test for acquiring historical concepts which consists of three items for each concept so the total number of items are 51 items. The researchers had applied the experiments in the first semester in 2014-2015, the researchers had taught the two groups and used attitude scale for pre-test for two groups. After applying the test and getting the results , the statistical means are used. The results show: 1-the pupils of experimental group is better than the pupils of controlling group in acquiring historical concepts in post attitude scales. 2-The attitude of pupils in experimental group grew significantly between pre and posttests. Based on the results, the researchers conclude that using the mixing learning has positive effect in acquiring concepts and attitudes towards history subject matter for fourth literary pupils. Based on the results there are number of recommendations and suggestions are posed.
