المستخلص: تتناول هذه الورقة البحثية النشاط السياحي في الجزائر بين الفرص المتاحة له والواقع، حيث تطرقنا في البداية إلى مقومات النشاط السياحي الطبيعية والحضارية والمادية التي تتمتع بها الجزائر والتي تحاول السلطات الجزائرية خلقها. ولمعرفة وقع هذه المقومات على النشاط السياحي في الجزائر قمنا بتحليل وقعه بالاعتماد على إحصائيات وبيانات مؤشراته، والتي تظهر التغيرات التي حدثت فيه خلال الفترة (2010- 2017). وفي الأخير استنتجنا أهم المعوقات والتحديات التي تواجه النشاط السياحي في الجزائر. خلصت هذه الدراسة إلى أنه رغم جهود الدولة في تطوير النشاط السياحي، إلا أنه يعاني من عدة نقائص أعاقت تقدمه، وهذا ما انعكس على تطور مؤشراته ومحدودية إيراداته.

This article discusses the tourism activity in Algeria between the opportunities that are open to him and the reality, where we first discussed the elements of tourism that Algeria has in a natural way, cultural and material, that the Algerian authorities are trying to create them. To find out the impact of these factors on tourism activity in Algeria, we analyzed its reality based on statistics and indicators data, which show the changes that occurred during the period (2010-2017). Finally, we concluded the most important obstacles and challenges facing tourism activity in Algeria. This study concluded that despite the efforts of the state in developing tourist activity, it suffers from several short coming that hindered its progress, which is reflected in the development of indicators and limited revenues.

Ce document traite de l’activité touristique algérienne entre les possibilités qui s’offrent et la réalité, où nous avons discuté dès le départ des éléments de l’activité touristique naturelle, culturelle et physique dont l’Algérie jouit, que les autorités algériennes tentent de créer. Pour déterminer l'impact de ces facteurs sur l'activité touristique en Algérie, nous avons analysé sa réalité sur la base de statistiques et d'indicateurs de données, qui montrent les changements survenus au cours de la période (2010- 2017). Enfin, nous avons conclu les principaux obstacles et défis auxquels est confrontée l’activité touristique en Algérie. Cette étude a conclu que malgré les efforts déployés par l’État pour développer l’activité touristique, celui-ci souffrait de plusieurs faiblesses entravant ses progrès, qui se reflétaient dans l’évolution de ses indicateurs et ses revenus limités.
