المستخلص: Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad, his family and companions as a whole And yet: God Almighty has given us the grace of Islam, and made it beneficial to the creation in all the details of their lives, and took care of all Muslims and others in that, whether those who lived in the homes of Islam or the lands of the West, and the earth became a livelihood for human beings with their various walks, religions and nationalities and their different ideas. They must live together, and one of them accepts his brother the man who contradicts him in religion, nationality, or other names. Muslims today emphasize overcoming the relics of the past and its complexes in a spirit of serenity and tolerance, and with a flexible mentality that places the supreme interests of the nation above all considerations, because it believes that dialogue with the other (the West) has become today a necessity that rises to the level and level of imposing sufficiency. The issue of dialogue between Islam and the West has become one of the most important issues that have imposed themselves in recent years on the intellectual and political arena in the Islamic and Western worlds as a result of what was included in some pessimistic comments and analyzes in the West about the future of the relationship between the Islamic world and the Western world and what some Western politicians and thinkers have argued in condemning what His Highness the Islamic threat to the Western world as a mob that is not based on the historical, civilizational and religious truth and knowledge of the Islamic world. Rather, it is based only on feelings of hostility to Islam and Muslims. The international community has witnessed an overlap and multiplicity of relations between different peoples and nations in various fields and fields in a way that makes us completely exclude the "theories" of confrontation or estrangement at the expense of communication, but the exceptionally provocative statements and behaviors issued from time to time by some of the parties that believe that they represent the entire West or Those who believe that they represent Islam and Muslims, can interfere with this communication, the necessary and inevitable dialogue. The research included four topics: In the first topic I dealt with: coexistence, its concept and definition, and in the second topic: the foundations of coexistence, and in the third topic: the effect of coexistence on the equality and balance of society, and in the fourth topic: the necessity of dialogue for coexistence.

الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلاة والسلام على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين وبعد: فان الله سبحانه وتعالى من علينا بنعمة الإسلام، وجعله نافعا للخلق في كل تفاصيل حياتهمن وراعى في ذلك كل من المسلمين وغيرهم، سواء من عاش في ديار الإسلام أو ديار الغرب، وأصبحت الأرض معاشا لبني البشر بمختلف مشاربهم وأديانهم وقومياتهم وباختلاف أفكارهم، لذا كان لابد منهم للعيش معا وتقبل أحدهما لأخيه الإنسان الذي يخالفه في الدين أو القومية أو غيرها من المسميات. إن المسلمين اليوم يؤكدون على تجاوز مخلفات الماضي وعقده بروح من الصفاء والسماحة، وبعقلية مرنة تضع المصالح العليا للأمة فوق كل اعتبار، لأنها ترى أن الحوار مع الآخر (الغرب) أصبح اليوم ضرورة ترقى إلى درجة ومستوى فرض الكفاية أصبحت قضية الحوار بين الإسلام والغرب من أهم الموضوعات التي فرضت نفسها في الأعوام الأخيرة على الساحة الفكرية والسياسية في العالمين الإسلامي والغربي نتيجة لما تضمنته بعض التعليقات والتحليلات المتشائمة في الغرب حول مستقبل العلاقة بين العالم الإسلامي والعالم الغربي وما ذهب إليه بعض السياسيين والمفكرين الغربيين في إدانة ما سموه بالتهديد الإسلامي للعالم الغربي بغوغائية لا تستند إلى الحقيقة والمعرفة التاريخية والحضارية والدينية للعالم الإسلامي وإنما يستند فقط إلى مشاعر العداء للإسلام والمسلمين. لقد شهد المجتمع الدولي تداخلا وتعددا في العلاقات بين مختلف الشعوب والأمم في شتى المجالات والميادين بالشكل الذي يجعلنا نستبعد كليا، "نظريات" المواجهة أو القطيعة لحساب التواصل، لكن التصريحات والسلوكيات المستفزة الاستثنائية التي تصدر من حين لآخر عن بعض الجهات التي تعتقد أنها تمثل الغرب برمته أو تلك التي تعتقد أنها تمثل الإسلام والمسلمين، يمكن أن تشوش على هذا التواصل الحوار الضروريين والحتميين. وقد اشتمل البحث على أربعة مباحث: تناولت في المبحث الأول: التعايش مفهومه وتعريفه، وفى المبحث الثاني: أسس التعايش، وفي المبحث الثالث: أثر التعايش في مساواة المجتمع وتوازنه، وفي المبحث الرابع: ضرورة الحوار لأجل التعايش.
