المستخلص: Thinking today of the tragic and the epic with or against Aristotle has great importance and specific relevance. Not because Aristotle's “Poetics” remains the founding work of any reflection on epic and tragic creation only, but because the Aristotelian text retains its novelty throughout all the past centuries. It is only with Aristotle that we can free ourselves from deviations from understanding the tragic and the epic. According to our approach, we try to discover in the first place Aristotle the artist logician, and in the second place the tragic as a merit for those who deserve it

Penser aujourd’hui le tragique et l’épique avec ou contre Aristote a une grande importance et une pertinence spécifique. Non pas parce que la « Poétique » d'Aristote reste l'oeuvre fondatrice de toute réflexion sur la création épique et tragique seulement, mais parce que le texte aristotélicien conserve sa nouveauté durant tous les siècles passées. C’est seulement avec Aristote que nous pouvons nous libérer des déviations de compréhension du tragique et épique. Selon notre approche nous tentons à découvrir en premier lieu Aristote le logicien artiste, et en deuxième lieu le tragique comme un mérite pour ceux qui le méritent
