The research deals with the issue of waste recycling in the State of Kuwait, where waste is spread over the surface of Kuwait in 16 sites called landfills, surrounding the Kuwaiti world from all sides. It has become clear that this waste extends for decades and has increased in recent times due to the increase in the amount of consumption and the wrong consumption methods due to the high standard of living, which has resulted in an increase in the volume of waste, especially electronic, car tires and others. Perhaps the problem lies in the lack of interest in waste recycling, which occupies a large area without paying attention to the scientific methods of landfilling, which led to the formation of a problem that almost got out of control, especially with the fires from some of them even after their closure for several years. Therefore, the research dealt with waste and its different types in Kuwait and the evolution of its quantities in the past ten years. It also dealt with the geographical distribution of landfills and their characteristics, waste recycling and the most important things that can be used from them, Kuwait’s location in terms of waste recycling, and the extent of the benefits that will result from the attention to waste recycling in the future. And finally, the most important results and recommendations that may help move forward in this path, in which many countries have preceded us, in which the standard of living is lower than Kuwait. يتناول البحث موضوع تدوير النفايات بدولة الكويت، حيث تنتشر النفايات على سطح الكويت بمواقع تسمى مرادم النفايات والبالغ عددها 16 موقعا تحيط المعمور الكويتي من جميع الجهات. وقد اتضح أن هذه المخلفات تمتد لعقود طويلة وزادت في الآونة الأخيرة نظرا لزيادة كمية الاستهلاك والأساليب الاستهلاكية الخاطئة نظرا لارتفاع مستوى المعيشة والذي ترتب عليه زيادة حجم النفايات وخاصة الإلكترونية وإطارات السيارات وغيرها. ولعل المشكلة تكمن في عدم الاهتمام بتدوير النفايات والتي تحتل مساحة كبيرة بدون الاهتمام بالأساليب العلمية لدفن النفايات مما أدى لتشكيلها مشكلة كادت أن تخرج عن السيطرة وخاصة مع اندفاع الحرائق من بعضها حتى بعد إغلاقها بعدة أعوام. لذا تناول البحث النفايات وأنواعها المختلفة بالكويت وتطور كمياتها في السنوات العشر المنصرمة، كما تناول التوزيع الجغرافي للمرادم وخصائصها، وتدوير النفايات وأهم ما يمكن الاستفادة بها منها، وموقع الكويت من تدوير النفايات ومدى الفوائد التي ستنجم من الاهتمام بتدوير النفايات مستقبلا. وأخيرا أهم النتائج والتوصيات والتي قد تساعد على المضي قدما في هذا الطريق الذي سبقنا فيه الكثير من الدول والتي ينخفض مستوى المعيشة بها مقارنة بالكويت.
