تناولت هذه الدراسة الأوضاع الصحية في الضفة الغربية بالاعتماد على إحصائيات وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية لعام 2013، ونظراً لأهمية الدراسة كون الأوضاع الصحية تمثل ركيزة هامة من ركائز التنمية البشرية في المجتمع وصحة أفراده، وتم من خلالها التعرف على أبرز الملامح الصحية في الضفة الغربية حيث بلغ معدل المواليد في الضفة الغربية 23.1 مولود بالألف، أما الوفيات فقد بلغ معدلها 2.61 بالألف وكان أعلاها بسبب أمراض القلب الوعائية بنسبة 31.2% فيما بلغ معدل وفيات الرضع 10.4 بالألف، وتنتشر في الضفة الغربية العديد من الأمراض كان أعلاها مرض السكري حيث بلغ معدل الإصابة بهذا المرض 222.2 إصابة لكل مئة ألف من السكان ومرض السكري بمعدل 74.0 إصابة لكل مئة ألف من السكان، ويوجد في الضفة الغربية 216 مركز لتنظيم الأسرة بمعدل 370 امرأة منتفعة لكل مركز، كما بلغت نسبة النساء المتزوجات اللواتي يستخدمن وسائل تنظيم الأسرة 55.1%، كما يوجد في الضفة الغربية 587 مركز صحة أولية يخدم كل مركز ما معدله 4147 نسمة، أما معدل المراجعين للطبيب العام يومياً 52 حالة مرضية، كما يوجد في الضفة الغربية 49 مستشفى تتضمن 3163 سرير بمعدل 11.8 سرير لكل عشرة آلاف نسمة، وبلغ مجموع الأطباء في الضفة الغربية 935 طبيب بمعدل 3.5 طبيب لكل عشرة آلاف نسمة.
