يخلص الباحث إلى أن الشعراء في العصر العباسي قد اهتموا كثيرا بالتشبيه، وأنهم كانوا يضفون عليه من خيالهم وأفكارهم من الجدة ما يظهر ملكاتهم الإبداعية وقدرتهم على تأليف الصورة وذلك من خلال الكشف عن العلاقات الجديدة الكامنة بين المتشابهات، وكذلك التجديد في الصور المعروفة والمألوفة التي من خلالها استطاعوا أن يحشدوا الألوان فيها، بطريقة توحي بأنهم قد عايشوا أفكارهم دون مشاعرهم، حتى تفوقوا في ذلك على مهارة الرسامين، الذين يبدعون في توظيف ألوانهم في تصويراتهم؛ وذلك لما فيها من دلالة وقدرة على التعبير عن المشاعر، سواء من خلال الصور الجزئية البسيطة أو من خلال الصور المركبة التي تقوم على أساس عناصر كثيرة مرتبطة مع بعضها البعض وتشكل جمالا فنيا في صياغة أفكار تعبر عن المشاعر، وتوصل الباحث أيضا إلى أنه قد اعتمد الشاعر العباسي على عنصر الحركة كعنصر من عناصر بناء الصورة الفنية وذلك لما يتميز فيه من موهبة إبداعية عالية تعتمد على دقة الملاحظة والقدرة على التعبير، ويخلص الباحث إلى أنه قد استطاع شعراء هذا العصر أن يجمعوا بين المتشابهات ويوظفوا عنصر الشكل عند تكوين الصورة البيانية في أعمالهم الإبداعية؛ فجاءوا بتشبيهات خاصة عرفوا بها عن غيرهم من الشعراء ارتكزوا فيها على توظيف الشكل ليستخرجوا من خلاله أشكالا عبروا عنها بألفاظ تحمل دلالات تجمع بين الوضوح والإيحاء، وتعبر عن وجه الشبه بين متشابهين بطريقة رائعة اتسمت بالجودة والجمال، وتدل على شاعرية مرهفة بارعة في رسم الصورة بالكلمات.
