إن بنية الخطاب في الديوان قائمة على فكرة الثنائيات المتضادة، وهي تحتوي على فكرة المفارقة وذلك في كل المستويات المطروحة في الدراسة، ولذا نجد الديوان قائم على فكرة الصراع والتوتر، وهذا يجعل النص في حالة من الحركة والتوتر اللذان يحركان ذهن المتلقي بدورهما ويحدثان حالة من التحفيز والإثارة للمتلقي الكثير من نشاطات الحياة تعتمد على الثنائيات المتضادة، والتفاعل بين هذه الثنائيات يولد دينا مكية تثير أطراف هذه النشاطات في الحياة. وكذلك الكثير من الفكر الإنساني وفكر الشعراء يعتمد على فكرة الثنائيات الضدية وبذلك يبلور الصراع القائم في الفكر الإنساني أو في فكر الشاعر قيد الدراسة حيث: - تتمكن الثنائيات المتضادة ويتأرجح في الديوان بين يأس وأمل، سقوط ورفعة ومن حيث الاتجاهات الأدبية فهو يسير بين الرومانسية والواقعية. - الثنائيات الضدية من أهم تقنيات الشاعر المعاصر عامة وشاعرنا خاصة. نسق الثنائية الضدية من أدوات وإجراءات البنيوية التي تعد بنية مغلقة. - إن الثنائية الضدية تعد علاقة ثابتة بين عناصر لغوية متغيرة. تجلت الثنائية الضدية في المستوى الدلالي والقولي والمعجمي ومستوى التصوير الفني، كما وضحت الثنائيات الضدية في النموذج الثنائي كنسق من أنساق البنية المغلقة في شعر الشاعر.
