يهدف هذا البحث إلى الإجابة عن السؤال الذي مؤداه: هل تتمتع الأجيال المستقبلية بحقوق مماثلة لحقوق الأجيال الحالية أم لا؟ وبالطبع، عند شروع الباحث في الإجابة عن هذا السؤال، ينبغي عليه أن يتناول بعض المحاور المهمة، لعل من أبرزها: ماهية الأجيال المستقبلية؟ وما طبيعتها؟، وموقف الفلاسفة من الحديث عن تمتع الأجيال المستقبلية بحقوق أم لا؟، وأخيرا، ما الاقتراحات والحلول التي قدمها الباحث للتغلب على إشكالية حقوق الأجيال المستقبلية، نظرا لانقسام الفلاسفة حول الحديث عن تمتع الأجيال المستقبلية بحقوق أم لا. ولقد اعتمد الباحث على المنهج التحليلي المقارن تارة، وعلى المنهج النقدي تارة أخرى. كما توصل إلى مجموعة مهمة من النتائج، لعل من أبرزها: إقرار الباحث بإمكانية تمتع الأجيال المستقبلية بحقوق مماثلة لحقوق الأجيال الحالية، ولقد أنهى الباحث حديثه بأن هذه الإشكالية بحاجة دائمة إلى حلول أخرى خلاف التي اقترحها الباحث، نظرا لطبيعتها المتجددة.
This research aims to answer the question: Do future generations enjoy rights similar to those of current generations or not? Of course, when the researcher begins to answer this question, she should address some important axes, perhaps the most prominent of which are: What are future generations? What is their nature? What is the position of philosophers towards the question: Do future generations enjoy rights or not? Finally, what are the suggestions and solutions presented by the researcher to overcome the problem of Dilemma rights of future generations, given the division of philosophers about talking about whether future generations have rights or not. The researcher has relied on the comparative analytical approach at one time and on the critical approach at another. She also reached an important set of results, perhaps the most prominent of which are: the researcher's recognition of the possibility of future generations having rights similar to those of the current generations. The researcher concluded her speech saying that the problem permanently needs solutions other than those solutions proposed by the researcher due to its changing nature.
