|a يعد المنهجي التأريخي الوصفي من أهم المناهج في توضيح الظواهر والسلوكيات في المجتمعات، وقد كان للمؤرخين في الإسلام دور كبير في تأريخ ووصف التصوف باعتباره مسلكا دينيا وظاهرة اجتماعية ونظرا لتباين وجهات النظر في سرد تأريخ التصوف والمتصوفة فقد كان لابن الجوزي في كتابه صفة الصفوة انتقادات منهجية على منهج أبي نعيم في تأريخه للتصوف في كتابه الحلية، وفي هذا البحث تبين دقة منهج ابن الجوزي في تعقباته لأبي نعيم سواء في السرد التأريخي، أو ما فات أبي نعيم في نقد مسالك المتصوفة.

|b The descriptive historiographical methodology is one of the most important approaches used to explain and justify phenomena and behaviors in societies. Historians in Islam have had a major role in the history and description of Sufism as a religious approach and a social phenomenon. Due to the divergence of views in the narration of the history of Sufism and Sufis, Ibn Al Jawzi, in his book “Safwat Al Safwa”, had methodological criticisms on Abi Naim’s approach in his narrating of Sufism in his book Al-Hilya. This research reveals the accuracy of Ibn al-Jawzi’s approach in his pursuit of Abi Naim, whether in the historical narrative, or criticizing the approaches of Sufis, which Abi Naim missed.
