تعددت النظريات العلمية المهتمة بدراسة الشخصية الإنسانية، وتنوعت وجهات نظر مفكريها بتنوع الدراسات ذاتها، إذ أسهمت كل منها في تفسير الشخصية بتفسير مختلفا عن بعضها، ومما كان له الأثر في زيادة التنوع المعرفي لفهم وتحليل جوانب الشخصية وسماتها الإنسانية، لاسيما الشخصية التي كانت نتاج تلك الظروف والعوامل المحيطة بها بحسب أفكار منظرو هذا الاتجاه الفكري. الأمر الذي دفع الباحث إلى التحقق من صدق تلك الافتراضات القائمة على دراسة السلوك في مجمله دون الخوض في تفاصيله. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى الأفكار القائمة عليها نظرية المجال -رغم أهميتها- إلا أنها لا ترتقي إلى مستوى النظريات الأخرى التي حاولت فهم الشخصية الإنسانية من خلال فهم وتحليل السلوك، إضافة إلى ذلك إن السلوك الإنساني لا يمكن تجزيئته إلى لغرض الدراسة فقط، وكما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن اتجاه هذه النظرية يناقض بعضه البعض إذ أن فروضها غير متسقة مع بعضها وغير متفقة مع حقائق الواقع لاعتمادها على وقائع وقوانين فيزيقية غيبية وغير طبيعية.
"There are many scientific theories interested in studying the human personality, and the views of its thinkers have varied in the diversity of the studies themselves.
