إن التحول من القومية إلى الكونية، لسائر بلدان العالم يعتبر ضرورة لمعايشة البلدان المصدرة للكونية والخروج بأقل الخسائر الناتجة عن تلك التحولات. أما التحولات التي تمت في السودان، تختلف كثيرا عن بلدان العالم الأخرى. وإن بداية التحولات من القومية إلى الكونية في السودان، لم تكن من باب خيار اللحاق بقطار الكونية، لفوائدها ومزاياها المتفردة. بل كان نتيجة للي ذراع الحكومة السودانية في ذاك الوقت، بموجب العقوبات والقرارات الصادرة من المؤسسة الدولية والمنظمات العاملة والمساندة لها. إذ تبين، من خلال تقارير المنظمات العاملة في السودان والمجتمع المدني الكوني السوداني. أن انتهاكات واسعة لحقوق الإنسان وجرائم حرب وجرائم ضد الانسانية، اقترفتها حكومة قبل ثورة ديسمبر 2018 م. منذ استلامها لمقاليد الحكم في يونيو 1989 م. وفوق هذا تم تصنيف السودان دولة راعية للإرهاب ومهددة للأمن والاستقرار الدوليين. وفي خلال هذه الفترة، أصدر مجلس الأمن الدولي قرارات عديدة ومتنوعة ضد السودان وتبعتها الولايات الأمريكية المتحدة بعقوبات اقتصادية قاسية. ثم بدأت مرحلة المهادنة، المتمثلة في الاعانات والمساعدات الأممية والدخول في مفاوضات الحرب الأهلية وميلاد اتفاقية السلام الشامل عام 2005 م، الأب الشرعي لدستور السودان الانتقالي لسنة 2005 م. والذي جاء بالتحولات الكبرى التي انداحت في مجالات الحياة السودانية كلها. ورقة البحث، عبارة عن القاء حجر علي بركة ساكنة، لإبراز أهم التحولات التي تمت منذ العام 2005 م وحتى سبتمبر 2021 م. فالتحولات الواردة في البحث عبارة عن نماذج محددة للغاية، مقارنة مع التحولات الكبرى التي وقعت في هذه الحقبة. لأسباب كثيرة ذكرها الباحث في متون البحث. قام الباحث بوصف تلك التحولات وتحليلها وإبراز أهم سلبياتها إيجابياتها وإلى أي مدي كانت لصالح أفراد المجتمع السوداني. ثم ختم الباحث دراسته بعدد من التوصيات، يعتقد أنها ملاذات آمنه، لأفضل طرق التعايش مع الكونية والسعي إلى تحقيق أكبر قدر من المكاسب لصالح المجتمع السوداني.
