المستخلص: نريد من خلال هذه الورقة البحثية الوقوف على أهمية الدين وآثاره الإيجابية والسلبية في البناء الاجتماعي. فآثاره الإيجابية منها تتمثل بالنهوض بالمجتمع عاليا وتعزيز قيم العيش المشترك فيه والتعاون والتفاهم بين أبناء المجتمع الواحد، وأما آثاره السلبية قد تظهر في صور توتر بين مكونات المجتمع الواحد تبعا لاختلاف المرجعية الدينية؛ مما يضعف الرابطة التي تجمع أبناء المجتمع الواحد ويؤثر على استقرار المجتمع وازدهاره، أما في الحلات الاستثنائية والتي قد يصل فيها هذا التوتر إلى مرحلة القطيعة والتناحر والقتال بين مكونات المجتمع نتيجة لاستخدامه من قبل مرجعياتهم على نحو يخدم توجهاتها السياسية التي ترتبط بأيديولوجيتها العقدية المتمثلة بالدين. وقد اتخذنا من المجتمع السوري نموذجا في بحثنا هذا وذلك لتجلي تلك الآثار الإيجابية والسلبية فيه بكل وضوح مع بداية الثورة السورية.

Through this research paper, we want to stand on the importance of religion and its positive and negative effects on social construction. Its positive effects are represented in the advancement of society and the promotion of the values of coexistence in it, cooperation and understanding among the members of the same society, As for its negative effects, it may appear in the form of tension between the components of the same society, according to the different religious reference, Which weakens the bond that unites the members of one community, affects the stability and prosperity of the community, As for exceptional cases, in which this tension may reach the stage of estrangement, rivalry and fighting between the components of society as a result of its use by their references in a way that serves their political orientations that are linked to their doctrinal ideology represented by religion. We have taken the Syrian society as a model in this research, in order to clearly show those positive and negative effects in it with the beginning of the Syrian revolution.
