المستخلص: Given the importance of the mutual relationship between tourism and the environment, it was necessary to achieve a balance between them in order to achieve economic and social interests, and therefore the interest in the principle of sustainability in tourism and its repercussions on the natural environment began. The negative social and environmental impacts resulting from mass tourism have prompted the need to adopt new forms of tourism that are more respectful of cultural heritage. The social and social aspects of societies in order to achieve sustainable development, which represents a facade that reflects the development of peoples and countries in all fields, and ecotourism is one of the most important forms that preserve the environment. This study was conducted with the aim of identifying the role of ecotourism in achieving sustainable development. There are several definitions of ecotourism, including the definition of the Global Environment Fund: Ecotourism is defined as “traveling to natural areas that have not been polluted and their natural balance has not been disturbed in order to enjoy With its landscapes, wild animals, plants, and civilization in the past and present, "the definitions of sustainable development have also varied in more than sixty definitions, including : Defining the World Commission for Sustainable Development in 1987 AD, where he defined it as: "Development that meets the needs of the present without prejudice to the ability of future generations to meet their needs". We assumed in this research that there is a positive relationship between tourism and the dimensions of sustainable development, and there is also a positive relationship between ecotourism and Achieving sustainable development. In this study, we relied on using the descriptive and analytical approach by combining theoretical and practical aspects by collecting information and data, presenting them and analyzing them, and we reached the following scientific results: - The validity of the hypothesis which states that there is a positive relationship between tourism and the dimensions of sustainable development. - The validity of the hypothesis which states that there is a positive relationship between ecotourism and the achievement of sustainable development. Among the most important recommendations reached by the study is to work towards attracting investments in the field of ecotourism by providing incentives and facilities to investors, encouraging the private sector to establish nature-based tourism facilities that respond to the principles of ecotourism.

نظراً لأهمية العلاقة المتبادلة بين السياحة والبيئة كان لابد من تحقيق التوازن بينهما لتحقيق المصالح الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، ولذلك بدأ الاهتمام بمبدأ الاستدامة في السياحة وتأثير انعكاساتها على البيئة الطبيعية، فقد دفعت الآثار السلبية الاجتماعية والبيئية الناتجة عن السياحة الجماعية إلى ضرورة تبنى أشكال جديدة للسياحة أكثر احتراما للموروث الثقافي والاجتماعي للمجتمعات من أجل تحقيق التنمية المستدامة والتي تمثل واجهة تعكس تطور الشعوب والدول في كافة المجالات، وتعد السياحة البيئية واحدة من أهم هذه الأشكال التي تحافظ على البيئة. وأجريت هذه الدراسة بهدف التعرف على دور السياحة البيئية في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة، وتوجد عدة تعريفات للسياحة البيئية ومنها تعريف الصندوق العالمي للبيئة فعرف السياحة البيئية بأنها "هي السفر إلى مناطق طبيعية لم يلحق بها التلوث ولم يتعرض توازنها الطبيعي إلى الخلل وذلك للاستمتاع بمناظرها وحيواناتها البرية ونباتاتها وحضارتها في الماضي والحاضر"، كما تعددت تعاريف التنمية المستدامة على ما يزيد عن ستين تعريف منها: تعريف اللجنة العالمية للتنمية المستدامة سنة ١٩٨٧م حيث عرفها على أنها: "التنمية التي تلبي احتياجات الحاضر دون الإخلال بقدرة الأجيال القادمة على تلبية احتياجاتها"، وافترضنا في هذا البحث أنه توجد علاقة طردية بين السياحة وأبعاد التنمية المستدامة، كما توجد علاقة طردية بين السياحة البيئية وبين تحقيق التنمية المستدامة. واعتمدنا في هذه الدراسة على استخدام المنهج الوصفي والتحليلي من خلال الجمع بين الجوانب النظرية والعملية عن طريق جمع المعلومات والبيانات وعرضها وتحليلها، وتوصلنا إلى النتائج العلمية التالية: - ثبات صحة الفرضية التي تنص على وجود علاقة طردية بين السياحة وأبعاد التنمية المستدامة. - ثبات صحة الفرضية التي تنص على وجود علاقة طردية بين السياحة البيئية وبين تحقيق التنمية المستدامة. ومن أهم التوصيات التي توصلت إليها الدراسة هي العمل على جذب الاستثمارات في مجال السياحة البيئية من خلال تقديم الحوافز والتسهيلات للمستثمرين، تشجيع القطاع الخاص على إقامة المنشآت السياحية المعتمدة على الطبيعة والتي تستجيب لمبادئ السياحة البيئية.
