المستخلص: بشكل عام، يعتبر الرمز الديني جزءا لا يتجزأ من التراث الثقافي والحضاري لأي مجتمع بشري. يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة تأثير الرمز الدين على التفكير الأدبي عند أندريه جيد. ولأن هذا البحث يعتمد على رواية "الباب الضيق"، فإننا نقترح دراسة الرمز الديني من خلال هذه الرواية عند أندريه جيد، ان اختيار هذه الرواية يعتمد على التأثير الذي يمكن أن يمارسه الدين على الروائي أثناء عمله، يدخل هذا المضمون ضمن الاستراتيجية الأيديولوجية التي يرغب أندريه جيد في التأكيد عليها من خلال أعماله الروائية. تبدو هذه الأيديولوجية اذن الطريقة الوحيدة لفهم الإشكاليات المتعلقة بالتفكير الديني لكاتبنا. في هذه البحث سوف نتبع منهجا تحليليا ووصفيا. سوف نستعرض إلى أي مدى سيكون التفكير الديني انعكاسا لرؤية كاتبنا الروائية.

En général, le symbole religieux fait partie du patrimoine culturel et civilisation el de toute société humaine. Cet article a pour but d'étudier l’influence du symbole religieux sur la pensée littéraire d’André Gide. En nous appuyant sur «la porte étroite», nous nous proposons d'étudier le symbole religieux chez André Gide. Le choix de ce roman s’est fondé sur l’influence que la religion peut exercer sur le romancier lors de son travail. Ce grand thème se trouve parmi la strategie idéologique qu'André Gide a tenu a mettre en valeur dans ses œuvres romanesques. II n’est qu’un moyen de comprendre les problématiques lices à la pensée religieuse de notre écrivain. Dans cet article. Nous allons suivre une méthode analytique et descriptive. Nous allons proposer de faire porter la réflexion romanesque sur la pensée religieuse de notre écrivain.

In general, the religious symbol is considered an integral part of the cultural and civilizational heritage of any human society. This research aims to study the influence of religious symbolism on the literary thinking of André Gide. Since this research is based on the novel “The Narrow Gate,” we suggest studying the religious symbol through this novel written by Andre Gide. This novel was selected to understand the influence that religion can have on the novelist during his work. This content is part of the ideological strategy that Andre Gide wants to emphasize through his novels. This ideology then seems to be the only way to understand the problems related to the writer’s religious thinking. In this research we will follow an analytical and descriptive approach.
