المستخلص: تتموقع نظرية ما بعد الحداثة في قلب المحاورة الثالثة بين كبريات منظورات العلاقات الدولية، وذلك باعتبارها المقاربة الرئيسية ضمن المقاربات التأملية التي طعنت في الأسس الفلسفية، الإبيستيمولوجية والمنهجية التي قامت عليها النظريات التفسيرية في حقل العلاقات الدولية- وبخاصة النظرية الواقعية -، ساعية بذلك إلى تقويض وهدم الحقل النظري للعلاقات الدولية برمته، وإعادة بنائه من جديد بما يتوافق مع توجهاتها المناهضة والمناقضة للوضعية. وانطلاقا من ذلك سعت هذه الدراسة للبحث في فحوى نظرية ما بعد الحداثة ومدى مساهمتها في التنظير للعلاقات الدولية. وقد كان التوجه نحو تأكيد أن قيام نظرية ما بعد الحداثة على نقد الأطر الإبستيمولوجية للطروحات التقليدية هو مسعى لفهم وتفسير أفضل لظواهر العلاقات الدولية. وكذلك إبراز أن انشغال ما بعد الحداثة بالتأمل في عملية التنظير للعلاقات الدولية، جعل اهتمامها محصورا في ما وراء النظرية بدلا من النظرية.

La théorie du post-modernisme se positionne au coeur du troisième débat entre les grands paradigmes des Relations Internationales, dans la mesure où elle constitue la principale approche réflexive qui remet en cause les fondements philosophiques, épistémologiques et métrologiques sur lesquels se sont fondées les théories explicatives en Relations Internationales, notamment la théorie réaliste. Ainsi, elle vise à réduire à zéro tout le champ théorique des Relations Internationales et à le reconstruire à nouveau de façon à ce qu’il correspond à ses prémisses qui contredisent le positivisme. A partir de là, cette étude vise à explorer le contenu de la théorie post-moderniste et sa contribution dans l’effort de théorisation en Relations Internationales. La tendance à fonder la théorie post moderniste sur la critique des cadres épistémologiques des théories traditionnelles constitue une tentative pour une meilleure compréhension et explication des relations internationales. Cette tendance à se préoccuper par la réflexion dans l’effort de théorisation en Relations Internationales laisse présager qu’elle est dans la métathéorie plutôt que dans la théorie.

Postmodern theory is located at the heart of the third dialogue among the major international relations perspectives, as it is the main approach within the contemplative approaches that challenged the philosophical, epistemological and methodological foundations on which the explanatory theories in the field of international relations - especially the realist theory - were based. In this way, it seeks to undermine and destroy the entire theoretical field of international relations, and rebuild it anew in line with its anti-positivist orientations. Based on that, this study sought to examine the content of postmodern theory and the extent of its contribution to the theorizing of international relations. The trend has been to assert that the basis of postmodern theory to critique the epistemological frameworks of traditional proposals is an effort to better understand and interpret the phenomena of international relations. It also highlighted that the preoccupation of postmodernism in contemplating the theorizing process of international relations has made its interest confined to beyond theory rather than theory.
