المستخلص: The economic resources are a determined factor for the agricultural production in Egypt. the economic and social value of these resources increase by the increasing demand on these resource. Because of over population. North Delta governorates suffer from various problems affecting the quality of irrigation water so the study's problem can be summarized in the deficit of irrigation water resources in Damietta governorate which lead to use other water resources such as Agricultural water drainage which lead to some negative impacts on production from point of view of farmers. The study aimed at recognizing problems and agricultural water drainage for irrigation in Damietta governorate and to conclude the main suggestions of farmers to solve the problems of the deficit of irrigation water, Results showed also that the irrigation costs were high for the drainage water area compared with the fresh water area. Farmers points of view indicated that using Agricultural water drainage was result of the deficit of fresh water and the location of part of agricultural laud at the irrigation channels ends. Farmers points of view indicated that the most important problems faced them were increasing costs and the non-availability of machines in the suitable time. Results showed also that the irrigation costs were high for the drainage water area compared with the fresh water area. Farmer's points of view indicated that using Agricultural water drainage was result of the deficit of fresh water and the location of part of part of agricultural laud at the irrigation channels ends. Farmer's points of view indicated that the most important problems faced them were increasing costs and the non-availability of machines in the suitable time and increasing density of weeds on the irrigation channels and drainage channels. The most important economic and environmental results from using agricultural drainage water in irrigation were increasing costs of productions especially irrigation costs in addition to increasing production and net profit and the lack of soil fertility and the most important impacts were liver tublorosis, renal failure and the most important farmers suggestions were establishing bilateral irrigation channel and using mixed water for irrigation.
