المستخلص: The apple is one of the most popular types of fruits that are eaten in Egypt and the world because it is famous for its great health benefits. The research problem is the significant increase in Egypt’s imports of apples in recent years, which leads to an increase in the value of Egypt’s agricultural imports from this crop, so the research aims to identify the most important economic factors that affect the Egyptian demand for apples from foreign markets. Among the findings of the research is that the most important economic factors that affect the Egyptian total demand for apples from the world market are the price of Egypt's import of apples, the volume of Egypt's domestic production of apples, the volume of Egypt's national income, and the volume of the population. The research also showed that Italy, Poland, and Greece are the most important countries from which Egypt imports apples, as the average value of Egypt’s imports of apples from those countries during the period (2008- 2019) amounted to about 239.5 million dollars, representing about 71.9% of the average value of apples. Egypt's imports of apples amount to about 332.6 million dollars. It was also found that the most important factors affecting the Egyptian individual demand for Italian apples are the average price of a kilogram of apples imported from Italy, the average price of a kilogram of apples imported from Poland, and the average Egyptian per capita share in kilograms of apple production in Egypt. The most important factors affecting the Egyptian individual demand for Poland apples are the average price per kilogram of apples imported from Poland, and the average Egyptian per capita share in kilograms of apple production in Egypt. The most important factors affecting the Egyptian individual demand for Greek apples are the average price of a kilogram of apples imported from Greece, the average price of a kilogram of apples imported from Poland, and the average Egyptian per capita share in kilograms of apple production in Egypt.

يعتبر التفاح من أكثر أنواع الفواكه التي يتم تناولها في مصر والعالم أجمع لأنه يشتهر بفوائده الصحية العظيمة، وتتمثل مشكلة البحث في الزيادة الكبيرة لواردات مصر من التفاح في السنوات الأخيرة مما يؤدى لزيادة قيمة الواردات الزراعية لمصر من هذا المحصول، لذلك يستهدف البحث تحديد أهم العوامل الاقتصادية المؤثرة في الطلب المصري على التفاح من الأسواق الخارجية. ومن النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث أن أهم العوامل الاقتصادية المؤثرة في الطلب الإجمالي المصري على التفاح من السوق العالمي هي سعر استيراد مصر للتفاح، حجم الإنتاج المحلى لمصر من التفاح، حجم الدخل القومي لمصر، حجم السكان. وتبين أيضاً من البحث أن كل من إيطاليا، بولندا، واليونان تعتبر أهم الدول التي تستورد منها مصر التفاح حيث بلغ متوسط قيمة واردات مصر من التفاح من تلك الدول خلال الفترة (2008 -2019) حوالي 239.5 مليون دولار تمثل نحو 71.9% من متوسط قيمة واردات مصر من التفاح والبالغ حوالي 332.6 مليون دولار. كما تبين أن أهم العوامل المؤثرة في الطلب الفردي المصري على التفاح الإيطالي هي متوسط سعر كجم التفاح المستورد من إيطاليا، متوسط سعر كجم التفاح المستورد من بولندا، ومتوسط نصيب الفرد المصري بالكجم من إنتاج التفاح في مصر. وأهم العوامل المؤثرة في الطلب الفردي المصري على التفاح البولندي هي متوسط سعر كجم التفاح المستورد من بولندا، ومتوسط نصيب الفرد المصري بالكجم من إنتاج التفاح في مصر. وأهم العوامل المؤثرة في الطلب الفردي المصري على التفاح اليوناني هي متوسط سعر كجم التفاح المستورد من اليونان، متوسط سعر كجم التفاح المستورد من بولندا، ومتوسط نصيب الفرد المصري بالكجم من إنتاج التفاح في مصر.
