The study aimed to identify the study of changes in the activity of the combined and free thyroid hormones thyroxine (T4) and thyronine (T3), which circulate in the form of free (F) FREE FT4 & FT3, cortisol hormone (CO) and thyrotropin hormone (TSH) in the blood of track racers (100m, 800m, 5000 m) and the researcher used the experimental method, and the study sample consisted of (15) contestants from Ahod Sports Club, divided into three groups, each group containing 5 competitors. The results showed that there was a difference between the three races in measurements of the level of united and free thyroid hormone T3, FT3, FT4 and CO, and TSH in the blood plasma of the track racers (100m, 800m, 5000m) at rest and also immediately after physical effort. Furthermore, there were changes occurred in thyroid hormones T3, T4, TSH and CO in blood plasma of track runners in 100, 800, and 5000 meters running immediately after physical effort. Moreover, there was a significant increase of CO hormone according to energy production systems for the three races (100 m, 800 m and 5000 m). The load of competition also led to some changes in the cycle of thyroid hormones and the adrenal gland hormone cortisol. Based on the results of the study, we can note that various factors such as the duration and intensity of physical activity can affect the united and free thyroid hormones T3, T4, CO, TSH and this in turn affects the final performance result in the race.
