المستخلص: يدرس هذا البحث جماليات الأسلوب في ميمية عمرو بن براقة الهمداني، وقد رصد مجموعة من الخصائص الموضوعية، والفنية، التي توافرت عليها القصيدة، وابتدأ ببيان: مفهوم الأسلوب لغةً، واصطلاحًا، وكذلك مفهوم الأسلوبية في النقد الغربي الحديث، والنقد العربي (القديم، والحديث). ثم توقف عند: المحاور الرئيسة، التي اشتملت عليها القصيدة، وجماليات الأسلوب، والصورة الشعرية، والإيقاع الخارجي، والداخلي، وخلص إلى جملة من النتائج، منها: اتسام لغة القصيدة بالوضوح، والبعد عن الغريب، والحوشي، ومناسبة الإيقاع الخارجي، والداخلي للجو العام الذي دارت حوله القصيدة. وقد عبرت الصورة الشعرية عن تجربته الشعورية، والشعرية بصدق، وعكست واقع الحياة المعيشة القائمة على الغزو، والسلب، وجاء الإيقاع الخارجي متناغمًا مع غرض الحماسة، والفخر، وكشف عن عالم الشاعر المفعم بالشدة، والقوة، وقد خدم الإيقاع الداخلي، المعاني، والأفكار، وعبر عنها بأسلوب غير مباشر.

The study examines the esthetics of style in Amro Bin Barraqa Al Hamdani's Mimiyah (a poem rhyming with the letter meem ‘M’ in Arabic). It has identified a set of objective and artistic characteristics of the poem. The study begins by explaining the concept of stylistics on both the linguistic and idiomatic level. It further highlights the concept of stylistics in modern Western criticism and Arabic criticism (old and modern). The research then addresses the principal axes in the poem including the esthetics of style, imagery, and the exterior and internal rhythms. The findings of the study show that the diction employed in the poem is lucid and the musical tune is melodious. The study besides shows the compatibility of the internal and external rhythm to the general atmosphere of the poem, and it demonstrates that the poem is at distance from the odd and the quaint. The vivid poetic imagery used has expressed the poet’s emotional and poetic experience genuinely, and it has reflected the reality of life which is based on invasion and pillage. The external rhythm is in harmony with the theme of enthusiasm and pride, and it reveals the poet’s world overwhelmed with intensity and strength. The internal rhythm, on the other hand, has served both meanings and ideas, and expressed them in an indirect manner.
