بدأت هذه الدراسة بمقدمة ذكرت فيها أهمية الموضوع، وأسباب اختياره، وأشرت فيها إلى أن حديث الدراسة، ومحور البحث وهو قوله - عليه الصلاة والسلام -: "بعثت بجوامع الكلم، ونصرت بالرعب، وبينا أنا نائم أتيت بمفاتيح خزائن الأرض، فوضعت في يدي" وفى رواية أخرى عن أبي هريرة، قال قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم " أعطيت مفاتيح الكلم، ونصرت بالرعب، وبينا أنا نائم أتيت بمفاتيح خزائن الأرض، فوضعت في يدي" بحاجه إلى دراسة بلاغية، ووقفات تأملية؛ لبيان ما احتواه من إشارات، ولبيان المراد به، مبينًا في الوقت نفسه طرافة الموضوع وجدته، وما يميز به، لكون الحديث فيه عن بلاغة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم سيكون من خلال حديثه - عليه الصلاة والسلام - عن منطقه، وما تميز به من الفصاحة والبلاغة، وعما خصه به ربه ومولاه - عز وجل - من جوامع الكلم وفواتحه وخواتمه. وقد جاء البحث في مبحثين: المبحث الأول: بعنوان: معاني "جوامع الكلم"، ذكرت فيه المراد بها، والخلاف في تحديدها، والقول الراجح في ذلك، وأسباب ترجيحه. وأما المبحث الثاني، فقد كان بعنوان: وقفات تأملية مع حديث "بعثت بجوامع الكلم"، وقد أطلت الوقوف مع هذا المبحث، ذكرت فيه سبع وقفات مهمة من دلالات الحديث، وأسراره البلاغية. ثم ختمت الدراسة بخاتمة اشتملت على أبرز النتائج التي خرجت بها من هذه الدراسة، والوصايا التي أوصيت بها في نهاية هذه الدراسة. ثم ذيلت هذه الدراسة بثبت للمصادر والمراجع التي تم الرجوع إليها، والإفادة منها في كتابة هذا البحث.
