المستخلص: هدفت الورقة إلى تناول شواهد النحو الشعرية الواردة في باب الاستثناء خاصة المتعلقة بـ (إلا) الاستثنائية ثم توصيفها. وتكمن أهمية الورقة في تناولها لشواهد النحو الشعرية المتعلقة بـ(إلا) الاستثنائية وعرض أقوال النحاة فيها. اشتملت الورقة على التعريف بالشاهد النحوي لغة واصطلاحا والتعريف بالاستثناء لغة واصطلاحا ثم عرض شواهد النحو الشعرية المتعلقة بـ (إلا) الاستثنائية وعرض أقوال النحاة في كل شاهد. اتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي، وتوصل لعدد من النتائج أهمها إن عدد الشواهد التي وردت بها (إلا) الاستثنائية في كتب النحو العربي ثلاثة وثلاثون شاهدا من جملة شواهد الاستثناء البالغ عددها واحدا وسبعين شاهدا، وفي بعض الأحيان يتوسع النحوي في معنى الاستثناء بـ (إلا) حتى يجعله نوعا من المستثنى منه، وأن هنالك معان لـ (إلا) غير الاستثناء كالحصر والاختصاص، وأكثر أحوال الاستثناء بـ (إلا) ورودا هو المستثنى جائز النصب والإتباع. ويوصي الباحث بدراسة الشاهد النحوي في الأساليب النحوية الأخرى ودراسة شواهد الاستثناء في القرآن الكريم والحديث النبوي الشريف.

The paper aimed at dealing with the proofs of the poetic grammar which were mentioned in the chapter of the (exception) especially which are relevant to the word (except) which was described earlier. This paper is important because it has discussed the proofs of the poetic grammar which are relevant to the word (except), which is used for exception and because it has exposed the grammarians sayings in the exception chapter. This paper contained the specific and general definition of a grammatical proof and also it contained the definition with exception in specific and general. Then it exposes the proofs of the poetic grammar which are relevant to the word except which is used for exception and exposing the grammarians sayings in each proof. The researcher has followed the descriptive methodology and he came to a number of results, the most important one that the number of proofs which had or contained the word (except) for exception in the grammar books of Arabic language are thirty three proofs of the exception proofs total which are seventy one. Sometimes the grammarian expands in the meaning of (exception) with the word except even it can be a kind of exception of the group. There are a lot of meaning for the word except as limitation and the specialization. The most mentioned cases of the exception with the word except are the exception and the process of following. The researcher recommends the followings studying the grammatical proof in the other grammatical styles and studding the proofs of the exception in the holy Quran and in the prophet Mohammed sayings (Hadeith)
