المستخلص: سعى هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن تجليات (مكة) –جغرافيا وتاريخيا-ومكانتها الدينية والحضارية في (كتب الأمثال)؛ وذلك عن طريق العودة إلى الكتب، والبحث عن كل مثل أو معلومة تاريخية تتعلق ب(مكة) ومجتمعها، وطبيعتها، ومكانتها الدينية والحضارية، فكانت الحصيلة عشرات الأمثال، تتفاوت في قوة الدلالة على جانب من جوانب مجتمع مكة، وفي كون الدلالة مباشرة أو غير مباشرة، وكذا في ورود هذه الدلالة في تراكيب الأمثال أو في مناسبتها وشرحها. وبالاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، مع الإفادة من المنهج التاريخي، وتبعا لمضامين الأمثال المحصاة وشروحها، جرى توزيع البحث على ثلاثة مباحث: اختص المبحث الأول بالوقوف على الأمثال التي تجلت فيها (مكة)، أما عن طريق طبيعتها الجغرافيا ومناطقها، أو عن طريق الإشارة إلى الوقائع التاريخية التي جرت على أرضها أو شاركت فيها قبائلها أو أسرها، واهتم المبحث الثاني بتحليل الأمثال التي تضمنت –بصورة مباشرة أو غير مباشرة-الدلالة على مكانة مكة الدينية، وسعى المبحث الثالث إلى تحليل الأمثال التي اشتملت على إشارات إلى مكانة مكة الحضارية؛ كتفنن بعض أهلها في مطاعمهم ومشاربهم وزينتهم، وشيوع مجالس اللهو والغناء فيها.

This research sought to reveal the manifestations of Makkah - geography and history - and its religious and cultural status in the books of proverbs; by returning to the books and searching for all historical information related to Mecca and its society, nature, The result was dozens of proverbs, which vary in the strength of the signification on one side of the society of Makkah, and in the fact that the significance is direct or indirect, as well as in the receipt of this significance in the structures of the proverbs or in the occasion and explanation. Based on the analytical descriptive approach, taking advantage of the historical approach, and according to the contents of the proverbs and their explanations, the research was divided into three sections: The first section deals with the proverbs revealed by Makkah, either by its nature, geography or its regions, The historical facts that took place on its territory or the participation of its tribes or families. The second section deals with the analysis of the proverbs that included - directly or indirectly - the significance of Mecca's religious status. The third section sought to analyze the proverbs, which included references to the status of Mecca civilization, such as burying some of their people in their comestible, drinking, adornment, and the prevalence of councils of love and singing.
