المستخلص: In this study, we try to examine the impact of eco-tourism and its impact on the local development of Algeria, especially the state of Ain-Defla, which is full of attractive tourist areas, whether forests, valleys and rivers, which require investment in line with this type of tourism, Bring new revenues to existing resources to get rid of a gradual or total dependence on oil revenues, including local income that covers the rest of the costs borne by the local communities in the state. Therefore, the problem of research is to know the extent to which eco-tourism affects the sustainable local development in Algeria in general and the state of Ain Defla in particular. Accordingly, we divided the research into three axes. The first part deals with the essence of eco-tourism. In the third axis, we examine the case study of the state and the potential of ecotourism in providing a contribution to sustainable local development.
