المستخلص: In this work, we presented an applied econometric model to illustrate the effects of both money supply and imported inflation on domestic inflation in Algeria during the period 1986- 2016 using an ARDL model. The results revealed through the border test that there is a co-integration between the local inflation rate and the various explanatory variables included in the model together with the exchange rate. The study concluded that there is a positive relationship between the broad money supply, imported inflation and domestic inflation in the short and long runs, while we obtained an indirect relationship between the exchange rate and inflation in the long run, unlike short-run.
