Media ethics is a set of ethical and behavioral principles and values that a journalist should adhere to during the exercise of his work, and so do the media institutions. İt is represented by common and general values and traditions such as honesty, integrity and equation. İt is also represented in the honorary notary approved by media bodies. The study deals with the issue of media ethics in the Iraqi television newsletter for the (Iraqi channel) and the (Turkmen Eli channel) as models for the study. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher relies on the descriptive approach and content analysis. (114) journalists working in both channels are surveyed and the researcher relies on the “questionnaire” as a main tool to collect information.The researcher selected two television channels for comparison. First, The channel of Iraq state . The second is a private channel, but still broadcasts under the auspices of the Iraqi state. This research has been conducted with a field application that measures broadcasting ethics and practices and the performance of TV channels in Iraq. Important findings have been reached on the implementation of the ethical principles and publication policy, which constitute the second part of the study, and whether there is pressure or not. The study revealed that the vast majority of employees in television channels comply with the basic laws and regulations that represent the sources of professional ethics on which the channel is based, and this result shows that they rely on the laws based on ethical principles. The majority of them believe that the orientations and demands of political parties do not affect the content of the publications. it can be inferred that the employees want the content of the publication to be objective and impartial.
