|b The objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of the agricultural financing policy adopted by the state in the context of agricultural policies since 2000 on the performance of the agricultural sector through performance indicators that show the extent of the contribution of agricultural financing to economic development and to achieving food security. . We have adopted indicators to measure the performance of the agricultural sector. Indicators related to the contribution of agriculture to the national economy and to external exchanges, which are the agricultural added value in the gross domestic product, the contribution of agricultural exports to total exports, the rate of agricultural export coverage of total imports, as well as the contribution of agricultural employment to total employment and Food security and nutrition security indicators. Our study concluded that the agricultural financing policy adopted by the state failed to achieve improvement in the performance of the agricultural sector and did not contribute to the development of its contribution to economic development or to achieving food and nutritional security.
