المستخلص: Counting the synonyms of death, due to the diversity of its connotations in the single concept, the multiplicity of its images and its division between physical images and intangible images. Purpose of the study: Revealing the literary creativity of the Egyptian novelist and the great writer Mohamed Abdel Halim Abdullah and dealing with the subject of death and selecting it from within the literary production of this novelist and focusing on it, as we noticed the scarcity of studying this topic in the product of this brilliant writer. This contributed to increasing the linguistic balance of the novelist through the synonyms of this concept that we collected. Novelist Naguib Mahfouz and others of his generation.
