يعتبر الاستشراق من مدارس الغرب التي بذلت جهدا كبيرا في دراسة الثقافات الشرقية بشكل عام، والثقافة الإسلامية بشكل خاص، فضلا عن اهتمامها بمجالات أخرى مثل الفنون والترجمة وتحقيق المخطوطات وغير ذلك من فروع العلم، لذلك جاء هذا البحث لفرع من فروع اهتمام المستشرقين ممثلا بـ (الترجمة وتحقيق المخطوطات ونشرها)، حيث دئب المستشرقون على ترجمة أعداد لا حصر لها من كتب المسلمين تارة، وتحقيق المخطوطات ونشرها تارة أخرى من أجل أهداف وغايات متعددة، وقد سلط هذا البحث الضوء على الجهود التي بذلت من قبل المستشرقين في ترجمة الكتب الإسلامية بمختلف فروعها إلى لغات بلادهم، وتحقيقهم ونشرهم لمخطوطات مدفونة في أديرة ومكتبات الغرب والشرق لعبت دروا كبيرا في تغيير نظرة الغرب إلى الفكر الإسلامي الذي اجتاح مدارس الغرب في أدوار كثيرة من أدوار التاريخ.
Means of Orientalism Verifying and Translation of Manuscripts as a Sample Abstract: Orientalism is one of the schools of the West that has made a great effort in studying oriental cultures in the form of the summary: in general, and Islamic culture in particular, as well as its interest in other fields such as arts, translation, manuscript verification and other branches of science, so this research came A branch of orientalist interest represented by (translation, verification and publication of manuscripts), where orientalists have been translating countless numbers of Muslim books at times, and verifying and publishing manuscripts at other times for multiple goals and objectives, and this research has shed light on the efforts made by Orientalists, in translating Islamic books in their various branches into the languages of their countries, and their verifying and publication of manuscripts buried in monasteries and libraries of the West and the East, played a great role in changing the West’s view of Islamic thought, which swept the schools of the West in many phases of history.
