"يرمي هذا البحث لمعرفة علاقة الشعر بالرياضيات واخذ نماذج وأمثلة من العمليات الحسابية كالجمع والضرب والطرح وغيرها. كما تناول البحث أغراضا في الشعر العربي كالأراجيز والمنظومات التعليمية والتاريخ الشعري. استخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي لملاءمته لظروف الدراسة، وقد اقتصرت حدود البحث على بعض أشعار العرب التي تناولت أفرع الرياضيات المختلفة. وقد خرج البحث بعدة نتائج منها: وجود مجموعة من الأشعار العربية التي تناولت الرياضيات، عدم استيعاب أشعار العرب كل مسائل الرياضيات، لكنها تناولت الأجزاء الأساسية منها، إظهار أشعار العرب لمعرفة وقدرة الشعراء بمختلف موضوعات الرياضيات، والاستفادة من عرض مسائل الرياضيات في صورة شعرية لتبسيطها. وقد أوصى البحث بعمل دراسات عن الأراجيز الشعرية والألغاز الشعرية ودورها في مادة الرياضيات. وعمل دراسات عن علاقة الشعر العربي بالمواد الأخرى كالعلوم والجغرافيا والتاريخ."
"This research aims to define the relationship between poetry and mathematic, taking samples from mathematical questions like adding, multiply, subtraction etc .... The research also discusses the purposes of Arabic poetry and the educational systems and the history of poetry. The research used the descriptive method that fits the study circumstances. The research limitation have confined to some Arabic verses, which deal with differentmathematical branches. The study has come to conclude that, there are number of Arabic verses that dealt with mathematics, Arabic poetry did not include all mathematical branches but it dealt with the basic parts of it. The presentation of Arabs poetry in order to know the ability of poets with the recognition of different mathematical topics and to terrific from the exposure of mathematical questions in poetic image to simplify to simplify them and to remove their vagueness. The research recommended that there are Arabic poetry that dealt with mathematics. The research recommended the conducting of studies about poetry riddlespoetry puzzles, and their role in facilitating mathematics and also conducting studies about the relationship between Arabic poetry and the other subjects such as science, history, geography etc.."
