المستخلص: للحروف في النحو العربي عدة تصنيفات، فمنها: العاملة والمهملة، ومنها: المختصة وغير المختصة، ومنها حروف للمباني وأخرى للمعاني. وبين حروف المعاني عدة أوجه من الشبه والفروق. والهدف من هذا البحث دراسة بعض هذه الحروف؛ لتبيان ما بينها من الفروق النحوية، وأثر ذلك على السياق. وتكمن أهمية هذا البحث في كونه: يشخص تلك الفروق، ويبين أثرها في توجيه المعنى، ويميط اللثام عن وجه من الدرس النحوي يكاد يكون نسيا منسيا. جاءت هذه الدراسة وفقا للمنهج الوصفي، ومن أهم نتائجها: أن لحروف المعاني أثرها في توجيه معنى السياق، وأنه ثمة التباس بين معاني بعض هذه الحروف، كما أنه يكثر التأويل في تقدير هذه المعاني.

The letters in Arabic grammar have several classifications, including: working and neglected, including: competent and non-competent, including characters for buildings and other meanings and between the letters of meanings several aspects of similarities and differences. The purpose of this study is to study some of these letters; to show the differences between them grammatical, and the impact on the context. The importance of this research is that it: diagnoses those differences, shows their effect in guiding the meaning, and reveals the face of the grammar lesson is almost forgotten. This study came in accordance with the descriptive approach, and the most important results: that the letters of meanings have an impact on the direction of the meaning of the context, and that there is confusion between some of the meanings of these letters, and is often interpreted in appreciation of these meanings. The study recommended the study of the functional diversity of these characters in the light of modern linguistics.
