المستخلص: يعنى هذا البحث بدراسة (قراءة تحليلية في الأبعاد الفكرية للنحت العراقي المعاصر) وذلك بدراسة وتحليل النماذج التي تحمل الخصائص الجمالية والتي تحمل أساليب وسمات لأعمال نحتية لفنانين عراقيين معاصرين. وقد تكون البحث من أربعة فصول تضمن الفصل الأول عرضا لمشكلة البحث والتي يمكن تلخيصها بالتساؤل الآتي: ما مدى تنويع القراءة التحليلية للأبعاد الفكرية للنحت العراقي المعاصر وما هي الأساليب والسمات التي تميزت بها النحت العراقي المعاصر. وأهمية البحث والحاجة إليه وهدف البحث المتمثل في: تعرف أهم قراءات الأبعاد الفكرية والأسلوبية التي حدثت في النحت العراقي المعاصر. فيما تضمن الفصل الثاني الإطار النظري وتضمن مبحثين: المبحث الأول فن النحت العراقي المعاصر مرجعية فكرية والمبحث الثاني تضمن دراسة في الأعمال النحتية لبعض من الفنانين المعاصرين. أما الفصل الثالث فقد اختص بإجراءات البحث وتضمن مجتمع البحث وعينية البحث البالغ عددها (4) ثم منهجية بتحليل عينات البحث. أما الفصل الرابع فقد احتوى نتائج البحث ومنها: 1-التنوع للأبعاد الفكرية كان واضحا على مجمل الأعمال النحتية للفنانين المعاصرين منها ما هو بعد ثقافي وسياسي واجتماعي للبعد التاريخي والتراثي والتي قدمت قراءات للانفعالات الذاتية للفنان والمتأثر بها من السايكو المجتمعي المحيط به. 2-لعبت الخطوط دورا مهما إلى جانب العناصر البنائية للعمل النحتي. الاستنتاجات: شكل العمل النحتي للفنان (جواد سليم) قراءة لأحداث واقعية بأسلوب مستل من فنون بلاد الرافدين نفذ بتأثير شكلي أوربي بخصوصية عراقية متسيدة على شكل العمل. وتضمن البحث التوصيات والمقترحات وفهرس المصادر.

This research is concerned with studying (an analytical reading on the intellectual dimensions of contemporary Iraqi sculpture) by studying and analyzing models that carry aesthetic characteristics and that bear the styles and features of sculptural works by contemporary Iraqi artists. The research may consist of four chapters. The first chapter includes a presentation of the research problem, which can be summarized by the following question: What is the diversification of the analytical reading of the intellectual dimensions of contemporary Iraqi sculpture and what are the methods and features that characterize contemporary Iraqi sculpture. The readings are the intellectual and stylistic dimensions that have occurred in contemporary Iraqi sculpture. While the second chapter included the theoretical framework and included two topics: The first topic included the art of contemporary Iraqi sculpture as an intellectual reference, and the second topic included a study of the sculptural works of some contemporary artists. The third chapter is concerned with sculpting procedures and includes the research community and the research sample (4), then a methodology for analyzing research samples. The fourth chapter contains the results of the research, including: 1- The diversity of the intellectual dimensions was evident on the entirety of the sculptural works of contemporary artists, including what is a cultural, political and social dimension of the historical and heritage dimension, which provided a reading of the artist’s personal emotions and those affected by them from the surrounding societal psycho. 2- Calligraphy played an important role alongside the Lebanese elements of the sculptural work. Conclusions: The sculptural work of the artist (Jawad Salim) constituted a reading of real events in a style drawn from the arts of Mesopotamia, executed under the influence of European formality with an Iraqi peculiarity dominating the form of the work. The research included recommendations, proposals and an index of sources.
