المستخلص: بين البحث أن الفهم الرشيد للنصوص الشرعية فيه النجاة من معترك الأفهام الضالة، ولعل ما كتبه أئمة التفسير -أمثال الإمام الطبري في تفسيره، والإمام محمد عبده، والشيخ محمد رشيد رضا في تفسير المنار، والمنصفون من المستشرقين أمثال غوستاف لوبون في كتابه (حضارة العرب) يكشف لنا حقيقة الأمر في دعوة الإسلام إلى الاحترام المتبادل وقبول الآخر وضبط الاختلافات وإدارتها، وإرساء دعائم السلام في الأرض. وأن وجوه الاحترام المتبادل مع الآخرين في ضوء نصوص القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية والفقه المستنبط منهما تبنى على عدد من الثوابت الشرعية أهمها: تعزيز روح المسالمة والمعاشرة الجميلة، والنهي عن سب معبودات المشركين، وبطلان القهر والإكراه على الدين، وتصحيح الفهم الخاطئ عن أصل مشروعية الجهاد في الإسلام، وأن الاحترام المتبادل وقبول الآخر جزء لا ينفك عن عقيدة المؤمن أينما كان موقعه. وهذا ما أدركه الأئمة العظام من مسألة تنوع الشرائع، وما يستوجبه من الاحترام المتبادل بين المسلمين وغيرهم في ضوء القواعد الشرعية.

The research has shown that a rational understanding of the legal texts means salvation from the battle of misguided understandings, and perhaps what was written by the imams of interpretation - such as Imam al-Tabari in his interpretation, Imam Muhammad Abduh, and Sheikh Muhammad Rashid Rida in the interpretation of Al-Manar, and fair orientalists such as Gustave Le Bon in his book (The Civilization of the Arabs). He reveals to us the truth of the matter in Islam's call for mutual respect and acceptance of the other, controlling and managing differences, and laying the foundations for peace on earth. And the aspects of mutual respect with others in the light of the texts of the Noble Qur'an and the Sunnah and the jurisprudence deduced from them are based on a number of legal constants, the most important of which are: strengthening the spirit of peace and good cohabitation, and the prohibition of insulting the idols of the polytheists, and the invalidity of oppression and coercion in religion, and correcting the wrong understanding of the origin of the legitimacy of jihad in Islam, and that mutual respect and acceptance of the other are an inseparable part of the believer's belief, wherever he is. This is what the great imams realized from the issue of the diversity of laws, and what it required of mutual respect between Muslims and others in light of the legal rules.
