المستخلص: This paper examines the concept of migration and the mechanisms of survival in Benyamin Daniel’s Goat Days. It also helps us recount the abuses endured by migrant labourers from different Asian nations, especially India, to the affluent Gulf States. These employees migrated for financial and economic reasons in order to offer a better life and a bright future for their family. The research sheds light on Najeeb, the novel's protagonist, and his trip from India to the Arabian Gulf, and how it changed from a sweet dream to a frightening nightmare. The investigation attempts to uncover hidden truths concerning labour maltreatment in Gulf countries. The paper also intends to explore Najeeb's survival mechanisms, such as acculturation, language and communication, and faith. The research concludes by emphasizing the importance of attempting to embrace another culture and learning its language, as well as the importance of faith in overcoming great challenges, such as those faced by the protagonist, Najeeb.
