المستخلص: يأتي البحث في مجمله عن الشاعر السعودي ابن عثيمين ويتناول الخيال وأثره في تشكيل الصورة في شعر ابن عثيمين (ت 1363 هـ)، وقد استهل بالتعريف بالأدب العربي في المملكة العربية السعودية، ومكانته بين الآداب واتجاهاته، ثم فصل القول في البيئات المختلفة التي مر بها الأدب السعودي والإشارة إليها. وبتأن وقف البحث عند الشعراء المحدثين؛ الذين على رأسهم يقف شامخا الشاعر ابن عثيمين؛ إذ يعتبر رائد هذه المدرسة الأدبية وله فيها مكانة لا تشابهها مكانة. ثم أفرد حيز من البحث للتعريف بالشاعر الذي يعد شاعر نجد بلا منازع، ثم تبيين أغراض الشعر التي طرقها خلال مسيرته الشعرية، منوهة بما أورده الباحثون حول الموازنة بينه وبين محمود سامي البارودي، ثم الوقوف على مقتطفات من شعره بالتركيز على قصيدة المدح لديه، فهو يتميز بقوة لغته وثقافته اللغوية والتاريخية. وكان لابن عثيمين شعر عامي إلى جانب الشعر الفصيح. تلا ذلك العناية بعنصر الخيال لدى الشاعر، لا سيما قصيدة المدح الذي خصها البحث بالدراسة؛ لما تجلى فيها من الصور الحية التي رسمها الشاعر؛ بها تميزت قصيدة المدح عن غيرها من قصائده -وإن كانت أغلب الأغراض التي طرقها الشاعر بغرض المدح، وستبين الباحثة لاحقا تفضيل غرض المدح عن غيره من الأغراض. هذا، وقد وقف البحث في الختام على الصور البيانية الخيالية وأثرها ودواعيها ومسبباتها، وكيف اتخذها الشاعر سبيلا لإعلاء القيمة الفنية والجمالية في قصيدة المدح، ثم ختم البحث بنتائج وتوصيات توصلت إليها الباحثة.

The research comes in its entirety on the Saudi poet Ibn Uthaymeen and deals with the imagination and its effect on the praise poem of Ibn Uthaymeen (d.1363 AH). It began by introducing Arabic literature in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its position between literature and its trends, and then they separated a saying in the different environments that Saudi literature has gone through. And refer to it Carefully stop the search for modern poets; On whose head stands the poet Ibn Uthaymeen standing tall. If the pioneer represents this literary school and has a stature in it that is not similar to it. Then he devoted a space of research to define the poet, as he is a poet we find undisputed, then to explain the purposes of poetry that he used during his poetic career, noting what the researchers reported about the balance between him and Mahmoud Sami Al-Baroudi, then standing on excerpts from his poetry by focusing on the poem praising him, it is distinguished By the strength of his language, linguistic and historical culture. And Ibn Uthaymeen had colloquial poetry as well as eloquent poetry. This was followed by attention to the poet’s element of imagination, especially the praise poem that was singled out by the study. Because of the vivid images drawn by the poet, it was revealed. By it, the praise poem was distinguished from other poems- although most of the purposes that the poet approached were for the purpose of praise, and the researcher will later show the preference for the purpose of praise over other purposes. In conclusion, the research focused on the types of literary fiction, its impact, reasons and causes, and how the poet took it as a way to raise the artistic and aesthetic value of the praise poem. Then he concluded the research with the results and recommendations reached at the end of the research.
