|a للقرائن المعنوية دور وأهمية في تحقيق الترابط والتماسك النصي، ولاسيما من ذلك قرينة الإسناد فهي من المواضيع التي اهتم بها اللغويون القدامى والمحدثين. ودورها يتجسد في مدى تحقيقها لظاهرة الاتساق والانسجام، فهي تؤدي إلى الربط بين ألفاظ النص وجمله. وبها يمكن أن نحدد المعاني النحوية المختلفة، ونميز بين المعاني والدلالات الموجودة من جهة؛ وبين صحة التركيب وخطئه. وهذا يظهر جلياً في ركني الإسناد المتمثلين في المسند والمسند إليه؛ فهما ركنان أساسيان لا يمكن أن يستغنى عنهما في تحقيق الترابط والتماسك النصي."
