المستخلص: The main objective of this article is to identify the heritage values of the "Souika" district of the old city of Constantine, and then assess them, in order to precise their importance. This step is part of the overall approach to managing disaster risks that threaten this cultural heritage. Therefore, what are the heritage values of the “Souika” district? Moreover, do these values have the same degree of importance or do some take precedence? Through a literature review and an in situ survey, the study identified the variety and richness of cultural and socio-economic values. It demonstrated that they are not homogeneous in terms of distribution, and some values are more important than others.
