المستخلص: تعد العتبات النصية من أهم القضايا التي يطرحها الوعي النقدي الجديد، نظرا "لفعاليتها وقيمتها المعرفية وأهميتها في إضاءة النص وكشف أغواره، إذ أضحت هذه العملية سواء في المنجز النقدي الغربي أم العربي حقلا "معرفيا" قائما "بذاته، إذ أسهم الحقل المعرفي الجديد في إثارة العلاقة الموجودة بين العتبات والنصوص المحيطة أو المجاورة للنص المركزي ليصبح مفهوم العتبة مكونا "أساسيا" وجوهريا" له خصائصه الشكلية ووظائفه الدلالية، أصبحت العتبات النصية من مستجدات النقد الحديث والمعاصر، وذلك من خلال طريق موقعها في فضاء النص، بوصفها كلية دالة أو نظاما" من العلاقات الدالة من جهة، وفي علاقتها بالنص المركزي من جهة أخرى. أن النص لا معنى له من دون وجود هذه العتبات وغيابها يؤدي إلى شتات النص تهدف هذه المقاربة إلى قراءة العتبات النصية (العنوان) و(الغلاف) لما حظيت به الدراسة من أهمية على الساحة النقدية الحديثة بوصفها من المفاهيم النقدية الحديثة في مجال النقد العربي المعاصر، وتقديم موضوعات جديدة لم يهتم النقد بها سابقا، واشتملت الدراسة على التمهيد ومحورين تناولنا بالتمهيد مدخل تنظيري للعتبات النصية، أما المحور الأول فجاء لدراسة العنوان كعتبة نصية مع النماذج التطبيقية، أما المحور الثاني فاشتمل على دراسة الغلاف كعتبة اللوحة والألوان، واسم الكاتب وعتبة الغلاف الخارجي وخاتمة تضمنت أهم نتائج الدراسة، ثم قائمة بالمصادر والمراجع. لم يعد العمل الأدبي عملا قائما على المتن النصي فحسب، بل باتت هناك أجزاء مكملة للعمل الأدبي، يعمل من خلالها الأديب على إضاءة وفتح مغاليق النص، تعرف بالنصوص المصاحبة أو العتبات النصية حسب (جيرار جينيت). وهذه النصوص باتت مكملة للعمل الأدبي لا تصح قراءته إلا بقراءتها واستكناه خباياها وإبراز علاقتها بالمتن النصي،‏ وتشمل العتبات صفحة الغلاف وما تحمله هذه الصفحة من عنوان الكتاب، واسم المؤلف، والتعيين الجنسي للكتاب (شعر، قصة، رواية، مسرحية....)، والإهداء، والتصدير،‏ والخطاب المقدماتي (المقدمة)، وكذلك التنبيهات، والهوامش، والتذييل. والعتبات عند القاص متنوعة وعلى درجة عالية من الوعي، حيث وظف القاص الكثير منها بشكل موفق كان للبعض منها الحظ الأوفر في التوظيف في جميع مجاميعه القصصية -موضوع الدراسة -كعتبتي الغلاف والعنوان اللتين كانتا متناسقتين متوافقتين فيما بينها، أما عتبتا التصدير والمقدمة فعلى الرغم من أهميتهما ونضجهما لدى القاص إلا أنه لم يستخدمها في مجاميعه القصصية جميعها.
