المستخلص: "يعتبر عمل الأطفال واقع معاش ومتمدد ومستمر وهو من أبرز وأخطر الظواهر الاجتماعية التي تهدد مستقبل الأطفال في العالم بأسره وبالمنطقة العربية خصوصا، فاستغلال الأطفال للقيام بأعمال لا تلائم قدراتهم الجسدية والنفسية لها آثار تهدد سلامة وصحة ورفاهية الطفل، كما لها بالغ الأثر على تنشئة وتنمية الأجيال القادمة. بقدر انتشار وتنامي ظاهرة عمل الأطفال نجد بالمقابل تزايد الاهتمام والقلق العالمي من وجودها وتغلغلها في سائر المجتمعات، حيث يعتبر الاحتفال باليوم العالمي لمحاربة تشغيل الأطفال في 12 يونيو من كل سنة، دليل واضح على عدم القبول الدولي بهذا الواقع المعاش. فالطفولة كأهم مرحلة من مراحل ا لنمو الإنساني تستحق كل العناية والاهتمام بتفاصيل التربية والتعليم وليست مرحلة التعب والشقاء، بالإضافة إلى كل ما قد تتعرض له من استغلال وعنف وسوء معاملة، وفي العديد من المحافل واللقاءات تجتمع الحكومات والمنظمات المجتمع المدني لتسليط الضوء على الواقع المعاش والمستمر لمحنة الأطفال في سوق العمل وتقديم مقترحات وحلول يمكن عند تنفيذها، أن تصل إلى تقليص الأرقام وخفض نسبة الأطفال المتواجدين بسوق الشغل، وتكون هاتة المناسبات أيضا فرصة للإقرار بالتقدم البطيء جداً للحصول على النتائج المرجوة ودعوة للتعجيل بإيجاد حلول لمعالجة أصل المشكلة."

Child labor is a reality of living, extended and continuous, and it is one of the most prominent and most dangerous social phenomena that threaten the future of children in the entire world and the Arab region in particular. The prevalence and growth of the phenomenon of child labor, on the other hand, is a growing concern and global concern about its presence and penetration in other societies. The celebration of the International Day to Combat Child Labor on June 12 of each year is a clear indication of the international lack of acceptance of this reality. Childhood, as the most important stage of human development, deserves all care and attention to the details of education, not the stage of fatigue and misery, in addition to all that may be exposed to it from exploitation, violence and mistreatment.
