المستخلص: "الشعر ((خلق فني)) يعبر به الشاعر عما يعتلج في نفسه، ما جعل سبر أغواره أمرا عسيرا على من لا دراية له في أسراره، ولم يكن يعانيها في تفاصيلها، لذل قالوا: ((إن الفنان لا ينقـده سوى فنان، ولا ينقد الشاعر سوى الشاعر)). ولا شك في أن الشعراء الـذين يتصدون لتقدير الشعر ومذاهب الشعراء فيه يستفيدون من مجموع ثقافتهم اللغوية والعروضية والنقدية. ولم يكن الشاعر الشيخ جعفر الهلالي بعيـدا عن أجواء الشعر ومضايقه، إذ إن قارئ مؤلفاته، وهو الشاعر الـذي وصف بأنه ((شاعر مكثر، يتدفق الشعر على لسانه عذبا سلسلا، وتنتظم القوافي في خاطره عسـجدا مطولا))، يلمس أن له، فيها، ملاحظات وآراء نقدية في قضايا الأدب المختلفة، وهـذا ليس بالأمر الغريب، إذ إن الشاعر، وهو ينظم شعره، إنما يمارس عمل الناقد الأدبـي، ليصل بنتاجه إلى درجة فنية عالية، وبنتاج غيره إلى هذه الدرجة أو قريبا منها، إذ كان الشاعر الشيخ جعفـر الهلالي يعيد النظر في شعره، وفي شعر الآخرين، وما قيل فيه، ليقول رأيه، ويثبت حكمه النقدي."

The poet Sheikh Jaafar al- Hilali was not far from the atmosphere of poetry and its harassment, as the reader of his books, who is the poet who described that “(a poet of abundance, poetry flows on his tongue smoothly, and rhymes are arranged in his mind with a prolonged rash)), he feels that he has notes And critical opinions on various issues of literature, and this is not surprising, as the poet, while organizing his poetry, practices the work of the literary critic, bringing his production to a high artistic level, and the production of others to this degree or close to it, as the poet Sheikh Jaafar al-Hilali was reconsider In his poetry, in the poetry of others, and what was said in it, in order to state his opinion and establish his critical judgment."
