The economic developments in the world economies, especially after the twentieth century, have given greater importance to the role of bank credit in economic activity. Thus, the monetary authorities (central bank, commercial banks) have to monitor the performance of financial institutions which lead to growth and development, and given the important role of bank credit in economic life Central Banks have to take charge of managing, and regulating the credit operations of commercial banks and other lending institutions. Bank credit is the use of bank funds in high-profit activities. The return on activity is a major source of revenue regardless of the number and variety of other sources of income. Bank credit contributes to the financing of the investee sectors to meet the needs of current and prospective clients, to obtain financing of their projects to achieve their investment objectives, As well as proper planning of the sources of their funds in appropriate uses and in a manner that contributes to the achievement of returns on the other hand, using hedging strategies to reduce the level of risk in the activity invested, so bank credit play the great role and an important part in growth the economic sectors. The easing of credit terms in the framework of an expansionary monetary policy would lead to economic growth in which economic activity could reach its peak, but this would soon cause economic problems when there is a delay for any reason in repaying loan installments, Banks to tighten the conditions of granting credit and this leads to a decline in consumer spending and investment and linking economic activities to the trough. As the country's economic situation booms, this will raise investor expectations, raising the volume of credit demand, prompting banks to increase their credit. When the economic situation of the country is in a state of decline, the volume of credit required is reduced to its lowest point due to the lack of optimism that negatively affects consumer and investment spending.
