المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة لمعرفة الضغوط النفسية لدى مرافقي المرضى النفسيين (الأسر) بمستشفى (على الرويعي) الهواري في مدينة بنغازي، كذلك لتحديد أهم الضغوط التي يتعرض لها مرافقو المرضى النفسيين المقيمين في المستشفى وتحديد العوامل التي تؤثر على المرافقين وتسبب لهم ضغوطا نفسيا. تم تحديد حجم العينة 25 مرافق بواقع (13.8%) من أجمالي مجتمع الدراسة. تم توزيع صحيفة استبيان صممت خصيصا لهذا البحث، تضمنت قسمين القسم الأول بيانات عامة عن المرافق وعن المريض النفسي، والقسم الثاني أسئلة مصممة وفقا لمقياس ليكرت الخماسي تعكس مقياسا للضغوط التي يتعرض لها المرافقين للمرضى النفسيين. كما تم إجراء مقابلات شخصية مع عدد من المرافقين وذلك من أجل دعم مصادر البيانات. وأكدت نتائج الدراسة بأن "المريض النفسي" يسبب ضغوطًا نفسية للمرافق، ويتعرض المرافقون للمرضى النفسيين لضغوط نفسية عديدة. بينت النتائج أن الاتجاه العام لعينة الدراسة أعطى العوامل العاطفية الشخصية درجة أعلى تأثيرا على المرافق وحالته النفسية بمتوسط عام بلغ 3.90، تليها العوامل المادية بمتوسط بلغ 3.73، ثم العوامل الاجتماعية والعوامل الصحية بنحو 3.49 و3.48 على التوالي، ثم العوامل المتعلقة بسلوكيات المريض بمتوسط عام لاتجاه عينة الدراسة 3.40. وقد تم الاستعانة باختبار (t) لاختبار الفرضيات وقد اتضح أن قيمة t المحسوبة كانت موجبة، بمستوى دلالة أصغر من 0.05 وهو ما يعني رفض فرضية العدم وقبول الفرضية البديلة، أي صحة الادعاءات التي افترضها البحث حول تعرض المرافقين لضغوط نفسية متعددة الجوانب.

The research aimed to find out the psychological pressures on families caring for psychopaths at Ali Al-Ruwai’i “Al-Hawari” Hospital in the city of Benghazi, as well as to determine the most influencing pressures facing them while caring of the psychiatric patients in the hospital and to determine the factors that affect the companions (families) and cause them psychological pressure. The sample size of 25 companion was determined, in which counted (13.8%) of the total study population. A questionnaire, specially designed for this research, was distributed. The first section of the questionnaire included general data about the companion and the patient, and the second included questions designed according to the five “Likert” scale, reflecting measures of the stresses that accompanying of psychiatric patients are exposed. Interviews also conducted with a number of companions in order to support data resources. The results of the research confirmed that the “Psychopaths” causes psychological pressure to the companions (families), and they are exposed many psychological pressures. Results showed that the general trend of the sample gave personal and emotional factors the highest degree of influence on the companions and their psychological situation with a general average of 3.90. Followed by financial factors with an average of 3.73, then social and health factors by about 3.49 and 3.48 respectively, then factors related to the patient’s behavior with a general average of the study sample’s trend of 3.40. The (t) test adopted to test the hypotheses, and it became clear that the calculated (t) value was positive, with a significance level less than 0.05, which means rejection of the null hypothesis and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis, that is, the validity of the claims that the research assumed about the companions being exposed many psychological pressure.
