المستخلص: تؤدي وسائل الأعلام دورا هاما في حياة المجتمعات ولاسيما التلفزيون، إذ يعد من الوسائل ذات التأثير المباشر في إيصال الرسائل الإعلامية وصناعه توجهات الجمهور، ونظرا لقدرته على الوصول إلى قطاعات وشرائح عديده داخل المجتمع، بالإضافة إلي تناوله مختلف أنواع القضايا ومنها الأمنية، حيث ركزت الباحثة من خلال هذا البحث على قضيه بحثيه هامه تتسم بالحيوية والعمق في أن واحد، وهي دور البرامج الإخبارية في ترتيب أولويات الجمهور إزاء القضايا الأمنية في العراق، وهدف البحث معرفه مدى إسهام طبيعة ونوع القضية وسياسه القناة في ترتيب اجندات القضايا الأمنية لدى الجمهور وفقا للمتغيرات الديمغرافية للمبحوثين، واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج المسحي باستخدام أداة الاستبانة لجمع البيانات من المبحوثين، كما وظفت الباحثة نظريه ترتيب الأجندة في أداة البحث لتحقيق أهدافه، واستخدمت العينة القصدية في اختيار المبحوثين ممن يتابعون البرامج الإخبارية ل223 مبحوثا من جمهور مدينه بغداد، وبعد تفريغ البيانات ومعالجتها إحصائيا والتحقق من فرضيات البحث توصلت الباحثة إلي مجموعه من النتائج أهمها: 1-أسهمت طبيعة ونوع القضية الأمنية في ترتيب أولويات أفراد العينة إزاءها وبمستوى متوسط. 2-لا توجد فروق إحصائية بين نوع وعمر ومهنه المبحوثين وإسهام طبيعة القضايا الأمنية في ترتيب أولوياتهم.

The media play an important role in the lives of societies, especially television, as it is considered as one of the means that has a direct influence in communicating media messages and in creating public attitudes, as well as its ability to reach many classes within society, in addition to dealing with various types of issues, including security, where the researcher focused through .This research deals with an important research issue characterized by vitality and depth at the same time, which is the role of news programs in arranging the public’s priorities regarding security issues in Iraq. It also aimed to know the extent to which the nature and type of the case and the channel’s policy contributed to the arrangement of the security issues’ agendas among the public according to the demographic variables of the respondents. The researcher used the survey method using the questionnaire tool to collect data from the respondents. The intentional sample in selecting respondents who follow news programs for 223 respondents from the audience of the city of Baghdad, and after Data collection, statistical processing and verification of the research hypotheses, the researcher reached a set of results, the most important of which are: 1/ The nature and type of the security issue contributed to arranging the priorities of the sample members towards it, at an average level. 2/ There are no important statistical differences between the gender, age and occupation of the respondents, and the nature of security issues' contribution in arrange their priorities.
