|b There has been an exponential growth in the interest in developing nanoparticles scale technology for various applications, so there are several ways to prepare magnetic iron oxide, Fe3O4 Nanoparticles, such as Gas phase, Liquid phase, Two-phase, Sol-gel methods, High pressure hydrothermal, and Co-precipitation Methods. In this study, we will are comparing the best methods, High pressure hydrothermal and Co-precipitation Methods for the synthesis of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles. Iron Oxide Nanoparticles exhibit many interesting properties that can be used in a variety of applications such as some of the applications of nanomaterial's to biology or medicine is Fluorescent biological labels [1], Drug and gene delivery [2], Bio detection of pathogens [3], Probing of DNA structure [4], Detection of proteins [5], Tissue engineering [6], Tumors destruction via heating (hyperthermia)[7], Separation and purification of biological molecules and cells [8], MRI contrast enhancement [9]. The different methods of preparation of Fe3O4 nanoparticles .The first part of this study will summarize the basic principle of each method of nanoparticle preparation, which presents the most recent innovations and progresses during the last decade, however were not included in previous studies on the subject. Strategies for obtaining nanoparticles with controlled in vivo fate are described in the second part of this study. Treatments of nanoparticles, applied after the synthesis, are described in the next part including purification, XRD, SEM, TEM, VSM. Finally, methods to obtain labeled nanoparticles for in vitro and in vivo investigations are described in the last part of this study.
