المستخلص: تتناول هذه الدراسة التعريف بمفهوم الفساد بشكل شمولي واستقصائي وذلك من عدة جوانب، أولها: الجانب اللغوي، وثانيها: الجائب الاصطلاحي، وثالثها: جانب السياق القرآني، ورابعها: الجانب الحديثي. فقد تتبعت هذه الدراسة ورود لفظة الفساد في سياق الآيات القرآنية والأحاديث النبوية، وعنيت ببيان أنواع الفساد ومظاهره، وأبرز الأسباب المؤدية إليه. وقد بنيت هذه الدراسة على العديد من المناهج العلمية ومن أبرزها: المنهج الاستقرائي الجمعي، ومنهج الانتخاب والاختيار للنصوص والأدلة، والمنهج التحليلي الاستنباطي، والمنهج النقدي. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج، ومن أهمها: أن أصل مادة الفساد يحمل العديد من المعاني التي إما أن تكون حسية أو غير حسية، مادية أو معنوية، وأن القاسم المشترك لهذه المعاني لغة الدلالة على حدوث خلل في الأشياء أو للأشخاص يقودها إلى الإخلال بمهامها، وبالتالي الخروج عن طبيعتها ووظيفتها الأساسية، وأن لفظة الفساد وردت في القرآن الكريم والأحاديث النبوية في سياقات متعددة، ومعان مختلفة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى تعريف كلمة الفساد من ناحية اصطلاحية بشكل جامع مانع، وبينت أن للفساد أنواعا ومظاهر وأسبابا تجتاح المجالات كافة: الدينية، والاجتماعية، والاقتصادية، والسياسية، والإدارية.

This study defines the concept of corruption in a comprehensive and investigative manner from several aspects, which are: firstly, the linguistic aspect; secondly, the conventional aspect; thirdly, the aspect of the Qur’anic context; and fourthly, the aspect of the Prophetic Ḥadīth. This study traces the incidence of the word corruption in the context of the Qur’anic verses and the Prophetic traditions. Also, it is concerned with exploring the types and forms of corruption, and the most prominent causes leading to it. In addition, the present study is based on several scientific approaches, the most prominent of which are: the collective inductive approach; the selective method of certain and relative texts and evidence; the deductive analytical method; and the critical approach. The study has reached many results, the most important of which are: that the origin of the word corruption carries many meanings, that are either tangible or intangible, material or immaterial, and that the common denominator of these meanings linguistically indicates the occurrence of a defect in things or people, that leads them to breach their duties, and thus depart from their nature and function; and that the word corruption is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic Ḥadīth in diversified contexts with various meanings. This study also has defined the term corruption technically in an inclusive manner, and has explored the types of corruption, its forms and causes, that invade all areas: religious, social, economic, political, and administrative.
