| 520 | |b The purpose of the study is to test the extent to which hierarchical finance theory is applied in the kuwaiti companies during the period 2012-2016, using the standard method through panel data. We used two models, the first represent the relationship between growth of assets and size of retained earnings, the second represent the relationship between growth of assets and debts, the study found that kuwaiti companies depend on 71% of retained earnings to finance growth of its assets, and depend on debt 45%. This financing behavior compatible with theory. |d Le but de l’étude est de tester dans quelle mesure la théorie de la finance hiérarchique est appliquée dans les entreprises kuwaitienne de la période 2012-2016. En utilisant l’approche standard à travers des données panel. Nous avons utilisé deux modèles, le premier représente la relation entre la croissance des actifs et des bénéfices non distribués, le deuxième représente la relation entre la croissance des actifs et les dettes, l’étude a conclu les entreprises dépendent 71% des bénéfices non distribués pour financer la croissance des actifs, et la dette 45%.
