المستخلص: تناولت هذه الدراسة كتاب (قواعد الترجيح عند المفسرين) للدكتور حسين الحربي، وذلك بهدف الكشف عن إمكانية تطبيق هذه القواعد على أقوال مختلفة في التفسير، وإبراز القيمة العلمية لهذا الكتاب، لا سيما وأنه أول دراسة تناولت هذا المجال، وهو مفيد في بابه. وقواعده في غالبها محل اتفاق؛ لكنها لا تخلو من النقد من حيث المضمون ومن حيث التمثيل من قبل المؤلف هذا من جانب. ومن جانب آخر فإن هذا العلم يحتوي على بعض الإشكالات من حيث المفهوم، والمضمون، والتطبيق، ويحاول الباحثان إبرازها؛ لتعزيز علم أصول التفسير وقواعده. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى جملة من النتائج كان من أبرزها: الحاجة الماسة إلى تناول تعريف علم قواعد الترجيح في أبعاده المختلفة، وأن معظم الأمثلة التطبيقية لهذه القواعد غير متناسبة، وضرورة إعادة النظر في بعض القواعد؛ لعدم إمكانية تمثيلها أو قلة تمثيلها، أو مضمونها.

This study discusses the book “Qawaid Al Tarjih Inda Al Mufassirin” (Interpretations-weighting Rules of commentators) for its author, Dr. Hussein Bin Ali Al-Harbi. The study aims to reveal the possibility of applying these rules on deferent interpretations, as well as, to represent the scientific value of the book. Especially that the book is the first of its kind in this field, and it is highly beneficial in its scope, and the majority of its rules have been agreed on by many commentators. However, the criticism of its content and representation is also present. On the other hand, the science of the principles and rules of interpretation has some problematic issues in term of concept, content, and application. In this study, both authors try to expose these issues with the aim of enhancing this science. This study concludes with a reflection on a great need for adopting a definition of Interpretations-weighting science, taking into account its different dimensions. Furthermore, the study points out that many of the applicable examples of the rules do not fit well with the rules themselves. Moreover, the study ensures the need to review some of the rules in term of its possibility to be represented and the content of the rules.
